I think if u got visa before the rule changed still It’s not 5 dear. But if u have 5 years regular study in English medium then its an exemption for 6 each. -

Hi, I lodged my nomination on basis of sponsor 186 visa as a cook on 29th June 2018 and still waiting. Anyone going through this situation or any idea that how long they are taking for nomination or visa applications? Thnx

5year Australian study or 6 each band

Check your previous certificate and write the time period excluding gap between different study period. It should equivalent to 5 years English medium study including overseas study if u done in English medium.
