Hi, yes I had a reply but seemed like a standard response email directing me to different links so emailed again and the response was that when my RRV expires I’ll have to reapply with no mention of extensions or advice for this situation, unfortunately for me I Know I won’t meet the criteria for a new RRV, so it looks like my plans for the last 5 years are over. Likewise if you hear any different please let me know.

Yes I’m fully aware that in usual circumstances visas are not extended but these are not usual circumstances and was trying to find out if they would extend RRV due to the COVID outbreak which is stopping people travelling. As I said in my initial post my RRV expires in September and I don’t believe I meet the criteria to be eligible for a new RRV, hence my question.

Hi all, I’m hoping somebody could advise, we were due to return to Adelaide in August 2020 with our RRV which expires September 2020 problem being with the pandemic and the effects on selling our property here in the UK the timeline is looking very unlikely to work out. Does anybody know if we would be likely to get an extension to the RRV date? Thanks Dan

Yes I remember a lot of people had that view, can I ask where you now and I assume this place doesn’t have these issues??

What was it that you disliked, most people say it’s too cold in the winter, I personally worry about restricting opportunities for my kids in Adelaide or am I wrong? It’s kinda why I ask for others opinions, where did you end up?

Thanks again for all your replies, but really wanted to hear from anyone who has relocated from Adelaide, their reasons and their findings and of course anyone who has relocated to Adelaide from other parts of Oz and try and make a bit of a comparison, it’s always nice to hear why people like or dislike an area, and I can then decide if I agree or disagree with that point. thanks again

Hi all, hoping for some information and opinions to help us make our minds up. we lived in Adelaide for 2 years between 2010-2012 but returned to uk for personal reasons but are now returning to Oz in the early part of next year, although we have a choice due to job offers of either Adelaide again or Gold Coast, we are a family of 4 daughter is 16 and has just started sixth form here and son is 13. TIA
