Yes I understand, would rather not upset anyone, totally crazy that the timeline keeps moving and it costs $100K+ Maybe someone who has been thru it might have a solution

We visit regularly as our kids are there and have always had a 651, even while our 143 has been lodged, but have never stayed longer than a month at a time. We are booked to arrive and house sold and new house build started, just need a visa solution.

We submitted our 143 application in Oct 16, estimated processing 27 months, Jan 19. They now estimate 42+ months We are arriving in Oz 28/12/18. Can we come on a 651 visitor visa and leave every 3 months then apply for a new 651 immediately it expires and keep doing this til our 143 comes thru? any advice would be great, thanks
