You can leave the country as many time as you want is what I knew but I did not know you had to apply for a different visa to leave beforehand..just a honest mistake as I'm sure you have made them too.

Parents live here so no so bad! Waiting back news from imma agent,should Hear back first thing tomorrow. Fingers crossed

I was totally unaware that I wouldn't be able to leave the country while waiting on this visa approval and now I'm stuck in the UAE! Bloody hell

Hi I had a conformation that the visa had been submitted and processed and I was able to work and live in Australia which I have been doing since June 2016. I believe me visa visa status is a 820 BVA temp visa

Hi , in June 2016 I applied for a 820 de facto visa and I received confirmation that it was being processed. I thought I was allowed to travel outside of Australia whilst I was waiting and have just visited family for the last three weeks. When trying to return to Australia I was told I didn't have a valid visa to re-enter. I'm worried about this situation as I'm currently stuck in Dubai, it would be great to get some advice on the options I have to return. Does anybody know anything at all ?? Many thanks!!
