Hi I’m on 65 points still no invite. Very frustrating and wondering what going on

we are a family of six, four kids of school age so don’t think I could afford the school fees etc plus don’t want the stress of visas while I there rather get it out the way. 

Hopefully July will bring some good news ?

Hi I submitted an EOI on 17th jan for registered nurse 65 points for nsw and haven’t received an invite yet ? starting to think I will never get any invite 

Does anyone know anymore on the new financial year starting July 2018. 

I have heard the the number of invitations will return to the larger number approximately 1000 invite per round this hopefully means things will start to move faster. 

Do we know if this will happen or what the chances are

just checking I’m reading that correctly does that mean a nurse with 60 points who submitted EOI 4 months ago will not receive an invite until July 2019 ?

That’s in line with what they have been saying that only people with 70 points are getting invited at the moment I think I am right in saying that people with 60/65 points should be about July time. Let’s hope so ?

I would be interested to I’m a nurse with 60points submitted EOI in November and then 65 points for nsw 190 visa in January. Not had an invite from either yet ?

No problem I’m a nurse to I had my anmac assessment done in September 2017 and I believe that you do need the academic one which I did. I got above 7 for it although to get the points for the visa I had to go back and do the general one and get above 8 in order to claim the maximum points for English language. Yes it’s all bonkers ? good luck with it all.

I am a Degree level nurse with 6.5years experience applying for the 189 skilled visa with my husband and children.  Do I need to take an additional English test or is my degree proof enough of my English for the skills assessment?

yes you will need to do the academic ielts test as you need this for your skills assessment which is through anmac. You will need to achieve a minimum of 7 across the 4 areas. There are other  English language tests that are acceptable but I did the ielts I thought it was fine but you do have to study even if English is your first language. Hope this helps

Hey yeah you don’t pay for EOI or need to attach documents you only state you have proof which you would need to show at some point. I’m offshore don’t know why it’s taking so long hopefully hear soon ?

im a registered nurse I submitted EOI for 189 in December and a EOI for 190 nsw in January I have 60+5 for 190 I haven’t heard anything yet and feeling a bit deflated any thoughts on when I might get invited

advice on the. Temporary visa was 457. 

I am a registered nurse I have submitted an EOI for 189 with 60 points in December 2017 and a EOI for 190 NSW with 65 in January. 

Due to the uncertainty of getting an invite I have looked at other routes I have been offered a conditional offer of employment from a health care company condition is I get registered with aphra I would have a temporary visa and would need to work full time in a nursing position I would also have to pay for my 4 kids schooling I understand this. I am happy to do this as I was hoping after a year or so I should be well on my way to get permanent residency. Can anyone shed any info in anything I should be aware of or any personal experience with this. 

It isn’t the way I wanted to get to Australia but I am worried about ever getting there and the time it could take as my kids are getting that bit older and I would like them to get as much time there as possible. 

Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks for that makes me Feel better I am hopeful that in the next 12 weeks or so we will be a good bit further down this very long and stressful road. Good luck with your venture to nt ?

i have applied for nsw I got a agent to submit my EOI that was 7 weeks ago today with 65 points ( 60+5 for state sponsorship) my agent was hopeful that I would get an invite within a couple of weeks. 

I am trying to remain optimistic but desperate to go as my sons starting his standard grades soon and would like him to get as much time to settle as possible. Any further info regarding nsw would be appreciated

Thanks for your reply I know that I wouldn’t get invited for the 189 until July. But I thought it worked differently for the 190 state nominations am I wrong about this ?. 

Hi I submitted my 190 nsw in beginning of January I still haven’t heard I have 65 points. I am very anxious about this as I was told that it was possible to get invited approximately 2 weeks after submitting. I know how you feel in complete limbo. Does anyone know how long I could be waiting I’m a nurse.
