Has anyone out there received a confirmation email from the department of immigration for receipt of their 2 vac payment. We sent ours 2weeks ago and haven’t heard a thing
I emailed the pvt this morning and they sent me a receipt for payment within the hour. Just goes to show there are some efficient members of staff in the organisation

Was wondering if anyone out there knows if you get an acknowledgement/receipt of the 2nd VAC payment?
Or do you just wait for the visa?
Ta
I to was wondering the same, seems such an anticlimax after such a long wait

If you are lucky enough not to need the equity in your house to move over, then I would suggest as we did and wait for the Visa to be granted. Houses here sell very quickly to, but unless your lucky it could take three months or more to complete. It’s never an easy or straight forward decision to make I’m afraid
good luck with which ever way you choose to do things.

Hi everyone,
I thought I posted a picture of our Singapore airlines plane at the gate at Manchester Airport a week ago when we were waiting to board but no sign of the post or picture ?.
Anyway we are finally here in Perth and registering for medicare, seniors card, buying a car and deciding whether to build a new house or buy an established home.
All of these stressful tasks are soooo much easier when a winter's day is sunny and around 20 degrees.
Thank you to everyone in the forum for advice and help through our journey. If you have been in the queue for a while and hit problems as we did , try and look to the future and hopefully like us eventually it will happen and you will join your children and look forward to sharing their lives and them yours.
Good luck everyone and congratulations to those who have advanced.
See you all soon!
Hi gafuk
congratultions on finally getting there. Our 2vac is now paid, the house goes on the market in a couple of days, busy packing and sorting those thousand and one things out that we've left until the last minute. Planning on flying out to Perth at the end of July.

Still waiting very impatiently. No request for 2nd VAC, despite the previous email from immi telling us the amount that would be requested and that we would have 28 days to pay etc... thank you for your patience. How about all the others from March 2015 - Mikenc Pertenhall?? Anything?
Finally we got a request for the 2nd vac payment this morning after a 39 month wait.

We are currently assessing files lodged and including 05th May 2015
That’s good news but there is still a back log with the 2nd vac requests that don’t seem to be moving

I have to agree. It beggars belief what they actually do in that office! I’m getting sick of waiting for a decision!

We received an acknowledgment email from the PCV Team saying they’ve received all our required information and will be allocating a CO to us soon. Is this the standard procedure and if so when are we likely to hear from them for the 2nd vac request

I think you should get to hear something very soon. Other parents on 143 visa who are on your timeline, have already got their visas.
Have they?

Out of interest has anyone out there worked out the average time between getting the AOS acceptance letter from Centrelink and being asked for the 2nd vac payment from the DIBP

MikenC Please tell me the detail of Your AOS . Why some application lodged after our be granted but you and me is still waiting for this ???
I’m at a loss. I really have know idea but I’m sure it won’t be to long now we just have to be a little patience, after over three years another few weeks/months will soon pass.
The bond was lodged in the 5/4/2018 and Centrelink was made aware of this on the same day

@Pertenhall Can you pay AOS bond before getting approval letter? Am just confused as @Tidang‘s signature has no date for AOS approval letter ?
Yes the bond is paid into a Commonwealth bank account then you need to wait for the approval letter from Centrelink to get to the 2nd vac request from immigration.
Its a long drawn out process I’m afraid

@MikenC ~ not the bond request letter. You’ll need to email to DIBP The Acceptance letter. After you paid the bond, bring the letter from CBA to Centerlink, then they’ll Issue a letter to let you know your AOS has been accepted in around 1-2 weeks.
Thank you for your reply. I think I'm just a little jumpy after all this time!
I keep telling myself it's really not long now
-
The bond was paid on 05/04 and Centrelink informed that day
-
Can anyone out there just confirm to me what letter has to be sent into the team1, is it the letter from Centrelink to pay the AOS bond into the bank or do I have to wait for an acknowledgement letter for Centrelink to say that the money has been lodged.
