Dears I got an invite last round. My point was 70 for 189 and eoi doe was 5th December. It's difficult to get invited with 65 or 60 points, try to increase your points. And by the way getting invite is only first step yet a major one as lots of things needs to be completed to get a VISA itself not to say what follows after getting grant...so best of luck guys..

We are in same position. Nurse with 65 points EOI effective date of 31st October. Hoping it will be this side of Christmas. 

Hi everyone, I’m looking for any information anyone can give on the timeframe for a visa grant with 60 points or 65 with state sponsorship. 
I’ve heard that they are only accepting people who have 70+ points, so are we in for a long wait??
anyones experiences applying with 60/65 points would be grateful.
My husband is the main applicant he’s a welder (first class) he has the final part of his skills assessment next week and also the English test too. So will hopefully be lodging EOI soon.

Can anyone provide complete list of docs for VISA submission?

I checked the Website for doc list. They don't mention to provide PCC for dependents but only for primary applicant. But few of my friends have submitted PCC for both primary and dependents. So got confused. Any suggestions??

I got a mail from ANMAC saying they received all my docs on Sep 21st and on Oct 3rd I got a mail saying they commenced my verification and I guess the processing time which varies accordingly is usually the time between you apply online till the date they commence your process.

Do we need to put previous work experience in EOI which is not recognized by ANMAC and unnecessarily provide docs to support it?

I'm not sure which business visa you're thinking of but I would think you'd be better off on a visitor visa (600 visa for business visit).  You would not be eligible for a bridging visa as these are only issued when you lodge a valid visa application while you are already in Australia, and you've said you would lodge your 189 offshore.  The 189 would probably be processed far more quickly than you could find a sponsor and have a 457 lodged and finalised.  If the 189 was finalised while you were in Australia on the visitor visa, the 189 would simply replace the visitor visa and you could then remain indefinitely.
If you are unsure of the best approach, speaking with a registered migration agent may be good to develop a strategy.

Anybody got their LOD reissued after a revaluation of their experiences. If so whether they have put same date as of assessment date commencement

Suppose I am filing a 189 VISA from offshore or outside Australia and if the grant is getting late , can I come in a business VISA and look for a job and also will I get bridging VISA if my business VISA gets expired while staying in Australia?

Can two VISAS be processed simultaneously? Suppose if I get a job in Australia on a 457 VISA , would it be also processed simultaneously with already 189 VISA submitted earlier ?

Will the VISA grant for nurse take more than couple of months after VISA lodgement???

Can you mention in detail what all documents are required to apply for VISA 189 by a nurse, all kindly mention the difference forms that we need to submit.??also I bileve you can't get anmac assessment unless you are done with aphra..

Dears , I have a query regarding bridging visa. I have currently a business visa on which I had travelled to Australia before and its expiry is say 8 March. Now I have submitted EOI for which I am expecting invitation by December. After I get invitation and apply for PR I am intending to travel on my current visa (business visa)which will be for another 3 months once I reach Australia on the same. My query is will I be offered any job as I already might get invitation by then but staying on business visa? Also for applying a bridging visa should my current business visa needs to be expired ?

Want to ask regarding claiming more points in eoi. My friend who's a software engineer claimed 70 points instead of 65 by adding one extra work experience which was not mentioned by acs. In case if he doesn't change eoi,Will DIBP cancel his visa or will they ask him to review the eoi ?

I called them and they told it will take 3 weeks for the whole process...

Yes gave them call...and said processing time is 2 weeks..after wqhich again 1 week for LOD

But in LOD they only mentioned about my current working experience and there were no mention about my previous work experiences for which also I had given complete docs with specified format. Can I enquire about the same with them and what could be the chance from their side of admitting mistake if it's from their side?

Yes...it's 189 visa. But since it's Xmas comming so just wondering if it will be delayed.
