But how recent does the post experience have to be? My husband has been qualified for 22 yrs but not worked as an electrician fir the past 3 yrs to help me with my business? Is he going to have to return to being an electrician before we can even begin to apply? Thank you

My husband is a 16th addition qualified electrician with 22 yrs experience. We were previously granted PR in 2008 but didn't go due to personal circumstances. We want to reapply now (had residents return declined), but he hasn't worked as an electrician now for 2 1/2 yrs. whole system has changed since we last applied, any help or guidance of where to begin would be so appreciated! thank you xx
