I dont think there is any such limit.i know a friend who is graphics designer with 42k salary got his PR in canberra

for specific occupation you need specific figure.

most importantly RSMS is a judgment base case. you can not really guarantee which figure salary will get you the pr. and in this particular in time its only depend on luck.

Look like immigration is more busy in allocating file which they can refuse easily. On stronger file they are taking more time so that applicant may give up or waiting to see if owner sell the business or make loss based on that immigration can refuse as much application as they can

    so unfortunate

    pretty much

Is there anybody applied for RSMS with 3 steps altogether?. I applied RSMS on 26/02/2018 and my agent told me that it is possible to lodge visa application directly together with RCB and Nomination steps. It has been three months and I haven't heard any news from RCB approval or not.

    Anybody know this case?

    Thanks

yes i applied all three together ........doesn't really make any difference in time period. applied on 3 june 2016. nomination approved waiting for visa now.

    Thanks for the information.
The one who gave me the answers is a manager in a not small agency with 30 employees and with a good reputation. He is a migration lawyer as well as a migration agent. If he is wrong, I would rather believe it is a careless instead of on purpose.
Meanwhile, when I asked the questions, he said he had to check it first and a few days back he came to me with the answers so he spent time on that.
To be honest, I don't know what should I believe now, and how can I verify all this.

    Hi Aron,

I have added my wife into my RSMS application recently, after nomination approval. and now I can see two applicants into my immi account i and my wife and she got bridging visa as well.

so definitely your agent gave you wrong information intentionally or unintentionally.

24 months Time to be calculated from nomination filing date only?

Doesn't matter when you applied, and to be honest processing time is just a lollipop. Don't waste your time to calculate the "24" months time. BECAUSE IMMI DONT CARE.? . As in my case, I am sitting on 27 months and 10 days and I have applied everything on the same day with complete docs. so how anybody would justify "global visa processing time". not to mention back in June 2016 when i applied my COMPLETE file the RSMS processing time was 6 to 8 months as per GLOBAL VISA PROCESSING TIME.

SO don't really bother yourself to check where are you at. (my advice)

    Hi,

    Today this long trip ended.

    image.thumb.png.63fc5d1129e5f134a384b0b0d2cd7acc.png

    Some details:

    • Office Manager
    • 187 DE
    • HR Country
    • 2 adults + 1 child
    • company +30 employees, QLD

Visa, nomination, RCB submitted in September 2016

    Nomination approved in July 2018.

Additional documents requested: medical examination, proof of relationship.

    Waiting time:

    • 61,689,600 seconds
    • 1,028,160 minutes
    • 17,136 hours
    • 714 days
    • 102 weeks
    • 23 months and 14 days
    • 195.62% of a common year (365 days)

Here are some my remarks for you, however, I am not a migration agent, so use them on your own risk:

    • choose your immigration agent wisely. Price shouldn't be the main factor. Ask him/her about the previous cases, strategy, chances, plan B.
    • choose your employer wisely, this is the most important factor. The bigger the company the better.
    • improve your skills, participate in courses, show this to the Immi. I uploaded all my new certificates as soon as I received them.
    • upload payslips, BAS, current letters from accountant. I uploaded BAS every 3 months, payslips every 1-2 months, letter from accountant after every year.
    • ask your employer to write a letter to Immi if there are any positive changes in the company - company is growing, revenue is bigger, there are new contracts, more employees etc.

I wish you good luck! I am very happy now! ?

    Adam

    Congratulation Adam B.

Good to see Office managers doing really well. As myself sitting with approved office manager nomination waiting for my approval, as submitted AFP medical etc.

    Guys kindly guide me.

My nomimations were made in april 2017 but on immi website it says august 2017 which is my visa apply date.

What I wanted to know when should I calculate 22 months from april or aug 2017?

Also any idea which month lot processing is going on for 187DE

Look, to be honest, there is no such guideline which tells you where's your time starting from an end etc. if you look closely on this forum you will find out immi is not following any order. some people got approval or decision within 16-18 months and some like me sitting on 27th month.

so don't bother to find out where is your time starting from....just sit back and PRAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY

    hii everyone

    i applied as a cook

    rcb, nomination and visa file

    20/december/2016

    rcb approved within weeks

on 31july they asked me for AFP straightaway.

they didn’t ask any document for nomination and my restaurant is sold in february.

is this normal because they skip nomination file even we never update anything from buisness side?

please suggest me if anyone had experience like me. thanks

Yes, nowadays it is normal. Provide AFP ASAP. you are very lucky they didn't ask for anything and dont bother to update anything which they didnt ask for.

    Hey Guys,

Been watching for a while but thought i would share.

Full Application for Employer to Sponsor 186 lodged Feb 2017 with visa application lodged shortly after Feb 2017. Recruitment Consultant

Spoke with MA and they give me nothing, also called IMMI direct and they just say it is processing. They have also mentioned there is a case officer, but yet we have no received any contact from the C.O. in any way shape of form.

18months of waiting, which of late has been nothing but worry and stress. The 457 is about to expire and we are about to move onto the bridging visa.

Officially living here 6 years  yesterday, working and doing everything by the book just. Just struggling to understand the timelines.

    Hi Jonn,

i lodge the full application in June 2016 and still waiting.

Why immi taking so much time and increasing time limit every month? My agent told me that he had a meeting with the manager of the RSMS department in immi. and he told to my agent that currently, 80,000 RSMS files in the pipeline and out of that 80,000 files 5000 are fake files. which means business physically doesn't exist but people applied for RSMS just based on paperwork.

Fraudulent cases are RAMPED in immi. That is the main reason for immi taking so much time.

    Hi Deza,

Sorry to hear about your case. I have read some of the posts from this forum saying they had result in 18-19months of waiting. It seems that yours should be done long time ago.

I’m so sick of waiting without any updates and really slow processing time as well. At the day I lodged my application, the process was 17-19 months.  Now is 24 months. I have lodged another 457 ( same employer and same time) still no news. 14 months for 457 as well with just Further Assessment ( Requested to provide my health insurance docs on 7/10/2017 and still nothing now).

Everyday I started my new day with my hope about visa, everyday I opened the immi account and disappointed coz nothing’s changed.

    Hi ANN,

although i am sitting on 26 months but they have opened my file on 14.06.2018 means after 24 months and 10 days. i submitted all the requested docs last week. so hoping for good news in this week or next week. thank you

    Hi guys,

Any one in this forum applied both nomination and application at the same day- 30/6/2017? Any updates?

I know that I will be 21-24months to wait in total but I’m so stress of waiting.

    Hi Ann Ann,

i applied on 3 june 2016, RCB,Nomination, Visa on very same day aaannnnnnnddddd i am still waiting.

sorry to say but, you will have to wait another 14-15 months. when i applied back in june 2016 it was 6-8 months and i am sitting on 26 and half month.

My understanding is that we need to tell immigration of any changes even if some1 gets married otherwise you have to give explanantion to immigration that why you didnt add her or inforn immigration. The good idea is to inform immigration about any changes. Its on rsms immigration webpage too.

I told them as soon as got married and add my spouse as a "Dependent" but didn't apply for her visa.

Thanks Alice, today i add her in the application.

As case officer asked u ur marriage cert that means she will approve u and ur wife pr at the same time. It wont take any extra time.. it will b straight forward.

If u dont want to add ur wife then u spend 7000k visa app 2 years wait to get visa approved. And soo on..

    Thanks Aussipr.

"You are not understanding – if you do not add her, they will hold onto your visa grant until she is health and police cleared.  If you do add her now, they will still hold onto your visa grant until she is health and police cleared – the only possible delay is if the yare not happy that your marriage is traditional"

After this clarification, i have no choice not to add her.

    That's clarified everything to me.
