    Just chill relax and wait bud...

    I have applied in Dec-24-2016. Already 8 month and still waiting.

    I got the call in February to confirm information with me the duration it was 45 min talking and asking me questions about the what I have write in my forums.

    So I am just waiting as well & pray for me and all to get it soon [emoji1317][emoji1317] Ya Allah, Amen

    Asalam alikum everyone,

    Because of being impatient for my visa 1 more question arises. Does it effect the processing time of visa if it has been applied from sydney through consultant?

    No it doesn't matter! My partner applied for me through an Agent in AUS, Adelaide. And I am living in Dubai. I am waiting for almost 7 months and 22 days now for the good news.
    Processing time is the same as far as you submit all the documents! We keep providing updates of our continuing relationship though!

    For me its going to be 7 months on 20th July since DOL. I inquired yday about status of application and received a reply stating the average time is 15 months and mandatory departmental checks haven not been completed yet and my application is in process. praying for patience and visa. This process is so mentally draining. 



    Me too is the same my application still in process
    I have completed 7 month and 20 day.

    It's not unusual at all. You get PR (100 or 801) straight away if you have been married/de facto for 3 years, or 2 years if you have children. 


    As per my agent information.
    Yes, He can be granted the permanent partner visa straight away. Couples who have been in a relationship for 3 years at the time of visa application (or 2 years if they have a child together) do not have to wait an extra 2 years before they are eligible for a permanent partner visa. In these cases the Department of Immigration first grants the temporary partner visa and then grants the permanent partner visa within minutes of the temporary visa grant.
    It all depends on whether the case officer assessing the application decides that there is enough proof that he were in a relationship for 3 years at the time of visa application.

    Alhumdulillah-e-Rabbil-aaaalameeeen,,,,

    We JUST GOT OUR VISA TODAY AT 11:16 AM Pakistan Standard Time (4:16 PM Australian time)

    What a great news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    We got it after 9 months and 15 days.. 

    It's been a very nice journey with you guys (waited a lot) but finally, we got what we wanted.

    May all of you who are waiting for a long time, get their Grant soooon... Especially (Usman, Riwaty, Zain, Irfan & zee147) get your grants ASAP. 

    May all the new applicants get their grants soon and you don't have to wait that much as we did.

    Hi everyone, my husband just received his visa today :')
    Praise God, it is such a relief to hear honestly after waiting for 12 months and 2 weeks! We are a mix of emotions right now [emoji23]
    I had my interview on January 25 this year, and my husband had his on May 19 (we don't know why there was such a great gap between our interviews!). After his interview, they requested another police check, and then contacted me by phone to inform me about some questions that I had apparently missed in my sponsor form (they were some boxes I had not ticked as I was told by a family friend to leave them after checking the file). I opened my file, ticked the boxes, and scanned the documents back to the embassy email. Our case officer also let me know that the application was in the final stage of processing, which was great to know. Then my husband and I did not receive any news for about a month, until today in the afternoon when he received his grant via email [emoji4]
    I want to congratulate everyone else who have received their grants, and give my best wishes to everyone still waiting for theirs. Hang in there, yes it can be difficult to wait and not know anything for months, but it really is all about patience. I know it has been very hard for my husband and I in this waiting game, but in the end it was worth it, and looking back we can't believe that a year has already gone by. Stay strong and don't give up! Bide your time and the rewards shall be yours [emoji4]

    About my visa process visa partner 309

    Lodge application: 24-Dec-2016 that is include good conduct police Clarence and all the forum and forum 888 and every single detail they are requested

    Medical test application: 23-Nov-2016

    Biometric: 28-Dec-2016

    Got two call from Australia consulates Dubai: 8-Feb-2016 and 9-Feb-2016 the call it was for 45 min speaking and asking me question about everything single step in my life and my travel place which I had visit and about my partner sponsor and confirmed and it was very good

    So far now 6 month and I am still waiting

    hi everyone. 
    me and my husband have lodged our application online in the 1st week of August 2016 and i got my interview call just after a month of my lodgement of my application. From that time we are waiting our partner visa to be grant soon as whenever we email the department asking about our visa update they always reply with the email that we don't need any further documents, if we do so, we would inform you. 
    now my main concern is that Eid holidays are coming up and we are worried that the department might delay the grants of this month and may be they will jump to the next month leaving so many days in between.
    can anybody help who had some related experience of that? 
    i would really appreciate.

    Don't you worry all what can I say be positive, I am also the same but we have applied since December 2016 and almost 6 month, so far NO update. I got a interview call after two month and they spoke with me around 45 min just questions. Only what can I do pray and wait
