    Partner/De Facto Visa Advice NEEDED

    Hi everyone
    My question is, After 10 months of lodging my defacto/partner visa 309/100 I have been requested to provide my sponsor's police clearance certificate and We have submitted. Can anyone advise me if this means my visa grant is very near? Can someone provide me an estimated time by when I should expect the visa grant?

    Hey everyone.....

    I have got today after 10 month email from the Dept. of immigration request me to apply new police clearance for my sponsor this time. For visa 309/100....from each country that he had lived 12+ months in the past 10 years ....

    And I have 28 days to submit the police clearance....

    As per my agent in Australia said this is new laws allowing to request police clearance from parter visa sponsor.. since last 2016 November.


    So I just feel like to keep in update guys..

    And I hope to Grant my Visa soon

    I was a silent reader and read this forum in the past couple of months. My husband just got granted his visa on 22 August 2017 [emoji33][emoji1]
    Our application was lodged online from sydney. 
    DOL: 23 December 2016- with completed police check and polio certificate.
    Medical completed and lodged: 31 December 2016
    Date of interview: 21 August 2017
    309 visa granted: 22 August 2017
    Entry date: Before 29 October 2017
    The total process just took less than 8 months. It was surprising that it got granted quickly seeing that the timelines were over 12 months on the immi website.
     
    Also very surprising was that the grant happened straight after the interview. We never knew the case officer until the interview when I got the call. I was only interviewed not my husband.

    I spoke to my immigration consultant yesterday, he said on average 309 visa is being granted in between 1 year to 18 months. And i check on immigrations' website and it says on average 75% of cases were closed in 13 months.
    For us it was exactly 6 months yesterday.. so we got plenty of wait..
    thought to should share it with y'all.

    That is correct and every month they change the process time

    Today I have completed 8 month

    We just have to wait

    Yeh it makes it hard because we waiting and they keep changing time time frame
     
    However looks like it they are processing a lot of applications that's why
     
    We still waiting too and hopefully it should be not too long. I am kind of new to this forum and saw all the chats and people sharing so I joined and thought I also ask and share.
    Where did u apply from and have you got a phone interview yet ?

    I got call from Australia embassy in Dubai on February coz I am living in Dubai.

    My application has lodged completely on December 2016 from Australia Adelaide through an agent.

    I am Arabic Originally

    InshaAllah all will get it soon
    I am waiting since 8 month and 15 day, I got call from Australia embassy in Dubai on February coz I am living in Dubai.

    My application has lodged completely on December from Australia Adelaide through an agent.

    I am Arabic Nationality. Hope that not make it delay.

    Still waiting and hope & pray to all
    And pray to every one get it soooon
