Did you get a reference number when you submitted the paper Aos as our daughter did.  They should’ve given you one.

    hi Rosiejaq,

No, we did't get a reference number as it was handed over personally to d centrelink. Anyway now they have conformed it's in d system and will be called in due course.

WHAT? You can't be serious right..... how did they lodge the application? If by online, they should be able to see the application status.

*** CENTRELINK ISSUE*** Does anyone know anybody that had issues with centrelink Assurance of Support letter? We did all correct and they rejected it by saying we didn't pay the $10K bond which we did and have proof. Now we are doing complaints and going via ombudsman but would be good to see if anyone had this issue and how was solved and how long. The immigration is requesting this approval letter in 28 days and by talking with Centrelink they are not giving any specific deadline to fix the issue so we are worried that the 4 years waiting for my mother's residency visa can be taken away by a simple mistake from Centrelink that they don't have time to solve.

Yes, Our assurer submited AOS documents to centrelink on 27.08.2019. twice he had inquired and confermed it's in d system but when he inquired today they have told they cant see d application and to resubmit again.

We are hoping to have our visa and be in Australia early April. House is on the market at the moment and we have started the process for importing our dog... which is a six months process so March would be the earliest we could go.

Still waiting for a response from centerlink for Aos. It would be so nice to know how long we have to wait.... even if it was another couple of months, it’s the not knowing that’s so frustrating. Everyone seems to have gone so quiet.

When we called to centerlink they said AOS handle by outsourced personal and even they r cueless. As u said we r unable to plan anything .
