You can fill in the on line form and save it.  I did ours over a week or so and only pressed submit when it was all complete and I had the evidence ready to attach.

    Hi tammy girl,

I got to a point when am prefilling it in my immigration account when a warning message appaared about the residence eligibility, that I may not currently be eligible. That's when I stopped to ask question here if someone has done it before, I do think want to mess up.

  3. Hi all,

Am due to apply for my citizenship in 2 weeks time, please can I prefilled the forms online while waiting for the date for submission, this is due to the nature of my work as I don't have much time to sit down and fill it in a go and I don't want to take chances when no one can say what will happen in twinkle of an eye.

    Best regards to you all.

    Hi Stevwtosh,

Did you lodge a Decision Ready application for you 187 visa?

    4 month is unrealistic.

I guess you are the legend in this forum now lol

It's not a decision ready application, but I can say I build a strong profile over the years. Cheers!

I would advise anyone who was requested documents to call their processing center for a general update after you have supplied all the requested documents.

My documents were submitted on 20/02/2017 and i never heard anything. My MA wouldn't even give me an update. I seen then on my immi account that my MA only submitted our form 80 on 14/03/2017 5 days after the allocated 28 days. I questioned my MA on this on the 17/03/2017 and he accused me of hacking his account and then said he wouldn't take responsibility for the outcome of our visa as i could track our visa on immi.

I was worried all that weekend so i called Immigration myself and just asked for a general update.

The lady asked for our TRN then asked if all documents requested were submitted. I replied yes, she said she would look into the application then 20 mins later when i checked my immi account our PR was granted :)

    good luck everyone

    Hi Kristy,

I got my PR today, you inspired me to make the move in calling Immigration as you have adviced. Am celebrating now.

    Cheers!

    Hi guys.

Just an update. We got our PR granted on 20th March. After the dramas with my migration agent I decided to call immigration on the Monday for a general update on the application. She asked if all documents requested were submitted I said yes and she said ok I will look into it. 20mins later I checked my immi account and PR was granted. So delighted.

    457 to 187

    submitted 12/08/2016 & granted 20/03/2017.

  9. Hi Stevwtosh, what we can see in Kirsty's case is, the MA is not professional at all and when he get caught he is trying to play smart. Anyone from Adelaide here, can you please go n teach him some lesson please..

Yes mate, we need to create a section meant for all this in professional MA so that people will not make mistakes that others have done.

  10. Can someone please tell me can we track our own application? Because my MA told me I can't check anything . Only she can check . Thanks

Thats the joke of the Century, let your MA know it's your right to track your application if you wish.

  11. Hi Kirsty,

Tell him that u login to your account not his, and in your visa acknowledgement letter its clearly mentioned that using the TRN provided you can access to your application.

And just dont worry, you havent done anything wrong.

Ashuj1 it's even show the MA is not professional as he/she surpose to know Kristy can gain access to her application MA consent. Even if you want to change the email correspondence to your personal email instead of MA email, you have the authority to do. So what is Kristy MA bragging about is what I don't understand.

  12. My MA has sent me an email asking how I have gained access to his immi account. Do they not know that we can track our own application through a immi account. He has me in tears as I questioned him about the documents that were submitted 5 days after the allocated 28days. What do I do? I've done nothing wrong just been tracking our own application on my own immi account

No need to be in tears, your MA must be a joker, your MA probably knows he/ she has got caught and don't want to admit been at fault. Why did Immigration has an option to import application if not for this sake of this type of situation. He is really a joker and even can be sued for negligence of his/her duty. Don't panic he/she has no influence on your application. Just relax and don't admit you are at fault as there in no breach of privacy. It's your application with an option to import it to your own immi account to monitor it. So common grab a bottle of beer and be positive your PR will be granted soon.

  13. I'm scared to question him on his work as he still has complete access to our application.

Although saying that you are right that i have the right to know what is happening.

Over the past 2 weeks he has been cc'ing me into a incorrect email regarding someone else's application. Twice now I've had to tell him that the email clearly isn't for me

Your MA only knows why it was uploaded on 14, it's either immigration requested for it or he/she just realised his/her mistake. Or in your immi account your can view correspondence email regarding your application if you don't want to ask your MA

  14. Hi Stevwtosh,

Yes they requested it on 09/02/2017 along with the police checks and medicals.

I'm stressing so much over this now.

on my attachments list its listed 3 times previously with police checks but then in the total attached column it states 2 and not 3.

dates attached is 12/08/2016, 10/02/2017 then on 14/03/2017 listed by itself under the Form 80 Personal particulars for character assessment tab,

previously listed under ''Character, Evidence of'' tab with police checks

Kristy contact your MA and ask why the form was just loaded. You deserve to know as it's your right.

  15. Anyone know what happens when documents are submitted after the requested 28 days?

found out yesterday that our Migration Agent only submitted the form 80 on 14/03/2017 when it was requested on 09/02/2017 so 33 days after the requested day.

The thing that is annoying me is that I supplied our migration agent with this form back in August to submit with the application

No cause for alarm, though you are lucky as immigration might make decision based on the documents provided before the form 80 was uploaded. If I were in your shoes I will try to see the application mailbox to see if immigration requested for it or your MA just realised his/her mistake and then upload it.

  16. Am not an expert, but did you remember when you want to apply student visa there is something immigration called genuine entrant, if you intended to come and study then why now you applied 187 without finishing your studies. what people don't realise is that all this little things do cos delay in getting further visa. MA will said yes you can do it without finishing your studies, but a responsible MA who don't want to only earn your money will advice you to finish your studies first. Yes some might have done it, but things are changing everyday. Goodluck.

  17. Hi guys, I have a quick question

    I lodge nomination 4 Jan 2017 and Visa application 3 Mar 2017.

Do you think is good idea to do my medical exam now? If case officer will take my files, he/she can approve my visa without requesting more documents.

Hi, well as you can read on the forum that some have been waiting for 12 months when immigration said the processing is 6-8 months, now that they said it's 11 months if I was in your shoe I will wait till the application is arround 6 months, also if you have kids on your application you better wait till the CO request for medical as kids medical is only for 6 months if am right. So it's up to you.
