I've had a 457 since April 2013 which expires this coming April. My Passport ran out recently. I am currently in the process of - A) Renewing my passport, and B) Applying for a defect visa with my girlfriend. Is my 457 still valid now that my passport has run out? I'd love some advice on this if anyone else has been in a similar position. thanks a lot folks.
