If I was to continue my studies could I gain a visa as an undergraduate and also work? Would I still be able to apply for PR after 2 years? Thanks

Hello I have been recently studying mechanical/ electrical engineering only at btec level 3 standard but enough to become a technician or similar job. Could I gain a visa with no work experience or is there a minimum amount of work experience required as I have seen that there is a shortage of skills in this area? I have been working in the fire service for the last 14 years previous to this study could this help? Thank you for reading my post.

Hello I have been a firefighter in the UK for nearly 14 years and having completed an online check it is on the secondary skills list but there are no vacancies. Is there anybody on here who has migrated over and used any skills/ qualifications gained in the fire service to get another job e.g fire safety to gain a visa or know of any links that could help??
