We didn't supply any form 888s. We uploaded all of the items that were 'required' when we first applied, and this was not one of them. We thought we'd wait until our CO asked for it. They approved the grant without.

OMG I was granted my visa today!!!! Soooo happy and relieved :jiggy:
4 1/2 months so quicker than I expected. They requested medicals last week so I booked in asap and fast tracked police check. Medical was Wednesday, all clear Thursday and uploaded police check, visa grant Friday!
Our situation:
My husband is British and was finalising his permanent residency visa when we met so didn't have time to discuss it and add me on.
Met 3 years ago, became an 'official' couple when he moved in Dec 14, bought our house joint mortgage April 15, Got married September 15. Validated hubbys visa October 15 on our honeymoon. No children.
309 visa approved.
Good Luck to everyone and hope to see more visa grants very soon. Keep the faith x
Congratulations! More fantastic news. Have fun celebrating and good luck with your move and future in Oz! x

We just got our grant!! I'm in complete shock as it was SO fast!! Straight to the 100. Really pleased, we can start the process of selling our house and everything else that follows!!
We applied on November 14th, so it was less than 3 months.
congratulations! Fantastic news! Celebrations this weekend! Good luck with the move

Are you physic @ashabree? Lol
When's my visa grant coming through?
You were spot on I hope there is a few coming through now as there seems to be a few of us around the same time.
Lol! Sorry, I wish I could predict it! I only guessed Koalakate's because she was a few days before us, but couldn't get into the medical until after us. The timings just seemed the same. Honestly, yours won't be long. If it's a simple case, it's just a matter of processing. I have my fingers crossed it happens for you very soon.

Applied-18th August
Medical/PC requested- 12th Jan (given 28 days to complete)
Uploaded today (6th Feb)
Grant soon!! Fingers crossed.
Good luck! It wont be long now!

Yes the PC has come back. We just have the medical on Friday. We needed a Friday appointment due to work commitments otherwise we would have got it done sooner. I'll keep you all updated. It's my husband's birthday on the 18th Feb (6 months after we applied: 18th Aug) so it would be a fab birthday present if it was granted around then!
Yay! Great news! Fingers crossed it wont be long now. x
-
Yes we go on Friday, phew! How long does it take to update on the immiaccount? Don't think we'll have to wait for too long after all updated. Congratulations again! x
Ah! Great! It took 4 days. App was Tuesday, uploaded all clear on Friday. Visa grant email this morning at 9:45am! Fingers crossed yours is the same. Looking forward to hearing about it! x

Lovely we are off to Adelaide, well my wife and kids are there already.
Adelaide is lovely! I was born there and still have family there. You'll have a brilliant life in Adelaide.

We are off to Melbourne (my home town). How about you?

Congratulations Ashabree.
Thank you - I hope you get some news soon!

Thank you, we have had no contact, I did email the Europe centre and they replied saying they have received all the documents and a officer would contact us if they needed anything else.
Good luck in Oz.

That's exactly what they said to me when I called 5 days before we hit 5 months. We got the more information request (inc medical and police check) 4 days later.
-
That's fantastic news ashabree.
This gives me hope that we will get our medical Email at 5 months and then grant after.
Well done and congratulations.

Hey guys, just a quick note to say that my husband had his visas (309 and 100) granted today!
We are really grateful for everyone's support and kind words over the last few months. I feel a bit silly for being so worried about not hearing anything for most of our 5 month 9 day waiting time, as it's come through now, 1 week and 1 day after our first and only contact from our CO. We are feeling very fortunate right now and cant wait for the next stage of our life to start. I hope that our news is good news for some of you also waiting and in similar situations.

You'll have to ask him which doctor he saw. I can't remember my doctors name but he was an Indian fella. Nice little surgery right near Harrods.
He had the female doctor...
-
I had mine done in Knightsbridge too and definitely kept my pants on
Perhaps it's an age thing or for pre existing medical conditions?
Oh goodness! Maybe the doctor fancied my husband!
-
Oh dear. Where rid you have your test done?

He had it done in London – Knightsbridge. He wasn’t quite expecting it… I guess they were being thorough. @SimplyRhi, where did your husband have his?
-
Happy New Year! I think you'll hear this or next week! We have booked the medical (in Manchester) and my husband was told he will need to take his underpants off - not sure why but she felt the need to tell him!! We've been imagining all sorts of scenarios!! Haha
@koalakate, my husband had his medical yesterday – and yes, he did have to take his pants off (for a cough test)... I guess it will all be worth it in the end! LOL!
-
Fantastic news!! Wont take long now hopefully! :-)
Thank you!

Hey everyone - just wanted to let you know that we got the email asking my husband to go for his health examination and the police check today. I am so relieved!
