  1. We supplied 3 and have another 2 to upload shortly. Don't know if it makes much difference as we had enough evidence to prove joint living/finances since Sep 2004 when we moved in together, and then we got married in Oz in 2006. Think Nemesis above is right though - they are to prove the social side of your relationship is genuine.

Actually don't know if it makes much difference what you upload, as there seems to be no rhyme or reason for how they work anyway!!!

How do I get the following information to come up automatically at bottom of post?

    309/100 visa application submitted 03.02.2017 - Meds & Police Checks requested 10.02.2017 (with 8 week deadline) - Medical booked for 31.03.2017;

If you log in, go to 'Settings' (top right in black banner), then 'My Settings'/'Edit Signature' you can pop your details in there :)

  2. OMG I was granted my visa today!!!! Soooo happy and relieved :jiggy:

4 1/2 months so quicker than I expected. They requested medicals last week so I booked in asap and fast tracked police check. Medical was Wednesday, all clear Thursday and uploaded police check, visa grant Friday!

    Our situation:

My husband is British and was finalising his permanent residency visa when we met so didn't have time to discuss it and add me on.

Met 3 years ago, became an 'official' couple when he moved in Dec 14, bought our house joint mortgage April 15, Got married September 15. Validated hubbys visa October 15 on our honeymoon. No children.

    309 visa approved.

Good Luck to everyone and hope to see more visa grants very soon. Keep the faith x

Congratulations! More fantastic news. Have fun celebrating and good luck with your move and future in Oz! x

  3. Are you physic @ashabree? Lol

When's my visa grant coming through?

You were spot on I hope there is a few coming through now as there seems to be a few of us around the same time.

Lol! Sorry, I wish I could predict it! I only guessed Koalakate's because she was a few days before us, but couldn't get into the medical until after us. The timings just seemed the same. Honestly, yours won't be long. If it's a simple case, it's just a matter of processing. I have my fingers crossed it happens for you very soon. :)

  4. Yes the PC has come back. We just have the medical on Friday. We needed a Friday appointment due to work commitments otherwise we would have got it done sooner. I'll keep you all updated. It's my husband's birthday on the 18th Feb (6 months after we applied: 18th Aug) so it would be a fab birthday present if it was granted around then!

Yay! Great news! Fingers crossed it wont be long now. x

  5. Thank you, we have had no contact, I did email the Europe centre and they replied saying they have received all the documents and a officer would contact us if they needed anything else.

    Good luck in Oz.

That's exactly what they said to me when I called 5 days before we hit 5 months. We got the more information request (inc medical and police check) 4 days later.

  6. Hey guys, just a quick note to say that my husband had his visas (309 and 100) granted today!

We are really grateful for everyone's support and kind words over the last few months. I feel a bit silly for being so worried about not hearing anything for most of our 5 month 9 day waiting time, as it's come through now, 1 week and 1 day after our first and only contact from our CO. We are feeling very fortunate right now and cant wait for the next stage of our life to start. I hope that our news is good news for some of you also waiting and in similar situations.

  7. Happy New Year! I think you'll hear this or next week! We have booked the medical (in Manchester) and my husband was told he will need to take his underpants off - not sure why but she felt the need to tell him!! We've been imagining all sorts of scenarios!! Haha

@koalakate, my husband had his medical yesterday – and yes, he did have to take his pants off (for a cough test)... I guess it will all be worth it in the end! LOL!
