Hello! I am helping my friend to ask something about his visa. He was granted a 573 student visa in April (valid till 2020), and now he wanna transfer to a different education provider. He got a letter of release from the old school, and got a new COE from the new school. So he will apply for the new student visa 500 as the new school does not support visa 573. Meanwhile, he is holding the valid 573 visa (old COE was cancelled), and waiting for new visa 500 to be granted. So can he work in the meantime? If yes, can he work unlimited or only 40 hours per fortnight? And once he got his new student visa, can he start working? or he has to wait till the new course commence in Feb 2017? Thanks!

Hello! I have a question about the skill assessment for Secondary Teacher. I understand that one of the criteria for Secondary teacher's assessment is to have at least 4 year full-time university/higher education level study in Australia. If I have a Graduate Diploma of Teaching (1 year full time in Australia), and a Bachelor of Business in Australia (standard course duration is 3 years [8 semesters], but I studied some courses during the optional summer semesters which shorten my degree time and I have some course credits (1 year credit) from my Diploma of Business, which then I finished this degree for 2 academic years [4 semesters] only). May I know if this case I am still be comparably to 4 year full time study? Thx! Phoebe
