Because i am going to write n email to immi that how hard is life without each other. My wife PCc been issued on 2nd March and its not longer to go. I was thinking to mention this point in an email. But let see what happen now

I just need to ask about PCC as i hv seen my wife Pcc in which its written that validation is for only 90 days. I am wondering everyone talking in forum about 1year PCC expiry date, Could someone explain it?

Ours was issued from Karachi and only valid for 6 months. We asked immigration if we needed it to revalidate it and was advised only if asked to do so. They never did and entry date was issued exactly 1 year from the PCC

Just our DOB names, if we both had any past relationships and their details, how many events we had for the wedding, if we had done ruksati (which i found strange) and how many people attended the events.

Hey guys, finally visa granted,

We got a second interview call at approx. 6:30pm Aus time, this time they called me and not my wife (I am the sponsor, wife got the interview call about 4 months ago) they asked me some general questions which lasted about 5 mins.

Then at 8:30pm the visa grant email came through. Issued from Islamabad with a date of entry no later than 2nd March 17.

For those who are reading this and do not have an account, i urge you to make an account, connect with people in the same boat, this forum was a god send.

Prob best if you need to transit do it in Aus if you are not that comfortable, but transit visa's shouldnt take more than a few days though. Can do as Pumpkinhead stated by going to Brisbane or even Sydney (will be longer trip but wont have to transit in Singapore). In saying that if you dont leave the actual airport you wont need transit visa can stay for 12hrs or so etc in the airport and get a room if you need.

First of all many congratulations to rehan85 and Dada555 - Best of luck for your future.

I emailed them last week at immigration.islamabad************** and expressed my frustration that my application is over 11 months - After that they called my wife and conducted a short interview - pretty much general interview - verification questions like Names - DOBs - wedding dates - How we spent time with each other etc and then asked to submit Form40sp (I actually submitted additional documents in mid of Nov last year that's why very pissed off that why haven't they asked for this document at that time) that means they haven't checked my documents at that time and now after 2 months they realised and asked again)

 

Anyways my application is 11 months and 6 days now lets see how long does it take.

Mate I feel bad for you, hopefully IA soon mate, all I can think is because they asked for additional paperwork thats delayed the process, same thing happened to me they asked me to upload form 888's in May last year when I had already uploaded them.

Any one else notice grants issued exactly after 4 months of DOI...assuming above dates are correct

You can via post but its not that cheap and depends which city you are from best thing fit what you can in your plane ticket allowance and get to Aus!
