  1. Background Our original 189 EOI was lodged on the 6th June with 65 points with Anszco code 221112 (Management Accountant) A successful update has come in from CPA validating more of my work experience that now means we have 70 points Question When I update this today with the 70 points information, will it reset the lodgement date to 28th October or will it keep the 6th June? We are just wondering given if our EOI Lodge date is still the 6th June with the updated 70 points, it would mean we would be nearer the front of the queue given the invitations are prioritsed points and age basis
  2. Hi, I am a bluechip management accountant with good wide ranging experience that means I could have experience as the following ANXSCO codes: - 221111 Accountant (General); - 221112 Management Accountant; or - 221214 INTERNAL AUDITOR Does anyone know if any of them have better chances of success for either: - 189 with 65 points - 190 NSW state sponsored Many thanks for any help, Michael
  3. Great forum with lots of great advice There is one bit of advice I can not seem to find but am keen for regarding maximising my points for my 15 years of accounting experience. I am a Management Accountant that has progressed well in one bluechip company over the last 15 years. However when CPA have assessed my experience In the last ten years they consider I only have 4 years of key management accounting experience. This is because as I was encouraged to broaden my experience if I wanted to become a finance director, therefore I did 4 years an internal auditor within that company and 2 years as an accountant designing and implementing a new General Ledger and AP/AR system. Unfortunately these 2 broader experience jobs do not seem to have qualified as management accountant roles in the eyes of CPA. My question is has anyone suffered a similar issue and overcome it somehow by including broader accountancy experience to gain more points? Could a letter from my employer explaining why I was encouraged to broaden my experience help? Just seems a bit frustrating that this experience is not counted by the process yet when it makes be a better management accountant to have this experience. Any advice would be greatly recieved Michael
