  1. Hi guys, Quick question regarding confusion in the Immi Account for documents that have been uploaded, but CO asks you to do it again due to clarity. Im going to upload the original marriage certificate and notarized copy into the IMMI account. Here's how I'm doing it. For the original (I'm uploading again after CO said previous was unclear) "Attach More Documents ---> Marriage, Evidence of ---> Marriage Certificate" description states: Legible Scan of Original For the certified (notarized) copy Attach More Documents ---> Marriage, Evidence of ---> Other description states "Notarized Copy of Marriage Cert." Am I doing it correctly....kindly guide me. Thank you for your time. Best, Sam.
  2. Hi Guys, Form 80 seems pretty straightforward except for a few areas. Previous Passports The "requirements details" document states that I must list "all previous passports." I only have one previous passport and the other ones seem to have been lost. Question: If I enter my current passport and the previous one, would that be enough. Educational Details It states "indicate all activity during the period between the completion of your studies and your examination." Question: So if my studies finished on April 1st and my Exams were on April 15th, what should I write for those 15 days in between? That I was studying for exams? There's no area in the Educational Details section to tell what you were doing in the time between exams and study-end. Where do I fill that stuff in.
  3. Hi Guys, 1) So my marriage certificate was uploaded a bit blurry I guess, or the end part of it, and so my CO asked for it to be uploaded again with a clear and sharpened image. How should I rename it or re-upload it so that she knows its the new one. She asked for a sharpened image of the original, and a certified copy. So I'm presuming that I would re-upload it by naming the files: For the sharpened Original: Original-Marriage-Certificate.pdf For the notarized/certified copy: Marriage-Cert-Certified-Copy.pdf Any tips would be appreciated. 2) I need to upload Polio Certificate for my baby. Should I go to "Attach Health Documents" and select " Other" and enter Polio Certificate, and that should be fine? Thanks in advance! Sam.
  4. Hi SOMV, Thanks for the reply. Her birth name only changed with my surname, and so her first name remained the same. I only attached the marriage certificate for her, and not under my documents (foolish overlook, I know), and so she requested that the Marriage Certificate be uploaded again along with a notarized copy, and also Evidence of Name Change for my wife. A migration agent in her hometown told her that an Affidavit is typically used in these scenarios. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance, Sam.
  5. Hi, So I've lived in the US, and now am in Dubai. I married a lady from Pakistan, and now the CO has asked for "Evidence of Name Change." I had already uploaded the Marriage Certificate, and she doesn't really have any "poll deed" or similar document. What is strong evidence I can provide to satisfy the CO's requirement of "Evidence of Name Change." She does have an old passport with her father's last name, and her new passport which has my last name. But I want to know what are the typical documents that agents will supply to the DIBP as part of "Evidence of Name Change." Kindly guide. Best, Sam.
  6. Thank you for your time and guidance Sir. I appreciate it.
  7. So I got a CO allocated 2 days ago and she requested additional documents. The issue is that she mixed up the documents request between my wife and 10-month baby. So for my baby she has asked: - PCC - Form 80 - Health Exam - Marriage Certificate - Evidence of Name Change And on the next page she has asked the documents typical to ask for a baby: simple Medical Exam I've emailed them to make the amendment on the document and resend it, and the email was sent to gsm.allocated@border.gov.au, since the CO designated that as the contact email. 2 questions: - Is it even something to bother about, and the mixup won't cause any confusion when the documents are uploaded? - When I send the documents, should I just upload them into the IMMI Account or should I email them at that email address. Thanks a million, Sam.
  8. Thanks a million George! So I would go to the "Organize Health Assessments" tab. Fill out the eMedicals questions, and it would give me a printout after this which would also have my HAP ID in some corner right? Kindly apprise. Best, Omar.
  9. Hi Guys/Respected Agents, I've lodged my 190 application for myself, wife and baby. I wanted to know: 1) Should I wait for the CO to be allocated and then ask for the medicals or should I go ahead and generate the HAP ID from the "Organize Health Assessments" tab and go ahead with it right now for the 3 of us. 2) If my CO asks for the medicals within 28 days, but the first appointment I get and the results to come out takes longer than the 28 days, what do I do? Do I submit proof that my appointment has been booked and that would suffice? Thank you for your cooperation in advance. Best.
  10. I think the fact that your visa is 309/100 or a Spouse/Partner visa, that's why the question is different. I haven't seen that format of the question for any of the 189 or 190 visa applicant queries on any forum. I think one of the key reasons is that you already have someone living in Australia and that helps to bypass alot of the requirements pertaining to travel or residence history.
  11. Thank you so much Leanne....so if I have not lived anywhere else in the past 15 years, should I mark that question as No? Please indicate, because I don't really have anything to "declare" as such (not sure what that would mean either). That's the only question I'm stuck on in the Immi Account, if you could clarify whether Yes or No given my situation, I would honestly be very very grateful. It's confused me for 5 hours now and I'm mentally tired. God bless with guidance and thanks once again, Sam.
  12. Have any of the applicants lived in a country other than the primary applicant's usual country of residence Does this question in the ImmiAccount include only the past 10 years? It is a Yes or No question. My residence history 2001- to Present: Dubai, UAE (15 years now) Before 2001: United States Please advise if this question covers 10 years only, because I don't want to be going around getting background checks from the US if they are not needed. Thanks, Sam.
  13. Hi Guys, I'm lodging a subclass 190 visa application in the Immi Account. As an American applicant, I needed guidance on a few short Qs. Intro: I was assessed positively by the Australian Institute of Management for Sales & Marketing manager: Work Experience: "3 years or more" Degree: "assessed by the Australian National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition (AEI-NOOSR) at the Australian equivalent qualification at the level of Bachelor’s Degree." I got 30 points for age, 20 for IELTS, and 15 for degree....I did not see a point of claiming work experience points in EOI. Now, in the Immi Account: 1) Question 12 of 17: "Has the applicant been employed overseas in their nominated occupation or a closely related occupation at a skilled level immediately before lodging this application?" Should I select "No"? Because if I select "Yes", it requires you to select from the menu that says "3, 5, 8 or 10 years". And I'm assuming that would mean claiming those 3 years points. I am not claiming any points for work experience. 2) My wife is a secondary applicant and the system is asking for her Education History. She has done a full-time, 2 years B.A. in Statistics. Should I enter her degree by choosing "Other" from the "Highest Recognized Qualification" drop-down menu? And does this mean that I will have to upload her degree later on in the Documents Upload part? I haven't claimed partner points or got anything assessed for her. So would I have to go through the process of getting her degree photocopied and notarized...or is her Education History just a formality for the system. 3) I am still working in the position that I was when I applied for skills assessment. EOI lets you indicate this by allowing you to leave the date empty in the "Till" part. (as in From January 1 till Now) But Immi Account is not letting me leave that empty to indicate that I am still in this position. Do I put in the date that I am applying on and the Case Officer would know that I am still in this position. 4) I have a Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA) with major in Marketing from the United States. I selected "Bachelors Degree in Science, Business or Technology" in the "Highest Recognized Qualification" part. I did not choose the "Bachelors (Other)" option to enter my degree. Is that fine? Thank you guys in advance for your cooperation. Best, Sam.
