Last night, my plane landed at Heathrow after popping over to visit the fiancé in Queensland for 2 weeks... I had a stopover in Dubai so I quickly checked my emails.
Looks as though my PMV was granted the exact moment I went through passport control at Brisbane airport Overall, a processing time of just under 5 months.
Next year, after seven years we'll no longer be a long-distance couple! I'm so excited!
Congratulations! What's your timeline? When's the wedding? I applied on the 12/8 we get married 29/7/17, c/0 assigned 4 days ago, req medicals in 70days applied for 600 visitor visa yesterday 4 months and I can't do long distance anymore lol

Hi, has anyone recently applied for the PMV 300? offshore? thanks
-
You don't pay the full amount it will cost us around $1200 for the partner visa once married, yeah I understand that, me and my partner don't mind just means this next 12 months for us will be very expensive

I saw my partner every weekend the migration agent said we had to actually fully live together for the 12 months prior to lodgement it's such a pain lol! I would say get a migration agent to give you some advise they are the experts

Hi from my own experience I couldn't apply for this visa due to the last 12 months I haven't lived with my partner for the whole time due to work commitments we have also been together for 3 years and are engaged but our migration agent advised we don't have a strong enough case to complete this visa, we are in the process of the 300 prospective marriage visa then once married we can apply for the partner visa, good luck with yours

Hi Jamie,
please could you keep me updated with your progress? I applied on the 12/08/16 (not yet got a CO, just trying to get an idea how long yours would take so I can remain positive)
thanks [
I had my CO assigned last Wednesday 31st August, and they requested that I did the medical and police check and said that I had 70 days in which to complete and upload them.
