WILL

we don't need to apply for bridging visa. It is issued to everyone within few hours or days when we lodge visa file and it comes in effect after expiring substantive visa.

Hey u are the second person in the forum who were contacted first of august but still waiting. Im also the same. All others got pr month ago who were contacted during that time

the same for me... my situation is worse.... nothing updated at all

i am 2015er as well, still waiting..... no word to say..... only need one year to meet reqiuremtn to apply an 186.....

i think no one is like me waiting for 13 mths....

cannot find a person poorer than me...as a Sep applicant i am still waiting... MA said will go to visit IMMI next week

on 21/9/2016 I rang to immi and they transfered my call to case officer and case officer said he was allocated on 20/9/2016 and he reassessing my aplication .

 

since nothing has been heard from immi

 

I don't know if new case officer allocated on 20/9/2016 after submitted requests docs .why new case officer is taking longer

 

his guys pls suggest me is this normal process and it could be serious

 

will any problem to get visa

your situation is better than mine...well, i contatced IMMI but they said i am not the authorised contact person so nothing can be informed to me....

after that i pushed my MA to contact....

i am the Sep applicant as well.. nothing updated on my account....

do not worry mate, you are not forgotten by them.... focus on other things unless the anxiety will make you want to kill yourself....

Hii Dev. Do you beleive that they allocate your file because you called them.

I lodged My nomination 14Dec2015. My lawyer emailed them but did not get any reply from DIBP.

 

What u think. Do I need to call them for my file.

how do you think some cases waiting more than one year?

i saw my MA posted a IMMI report that recomends to control sponser visa application....

not happy to wait...over one year this month...

well, i have noting to say...

Hey will i understand ur frustration. We few people aare in same situation. Just keep in mind visa application lodged with never do not get lost. Immi certainly finalizes every application. They have their own way of working. No one really knows why some application takes way too longer. Here i would like to point out few possible reason:

 

# internal and external checks. They randomly pick up some files then put on checks. They run series of checks. Checks patterns are different for different applicants for different reason.

 

# another possible reason (im not sure though) sometimes they transfer file from one office to another. They said to me it goes back to queue again and takes extra time to allocate a CO.

 

# there could be many other reasons u name it. As they have to handle thousands of applications.

 

I know its unfair, Its frustrating for us, We are actually dying inside, our pr relates to many decision in our personal life etc. But we cant do anything. We have accept this cruel truth.

 

I suggest u to stop thinking about it. Today or tomorrow u will get it. It will come for sure.

 

I also suggested u in the pm that get ur MA to call immi. If u call insead of mailing u will get more clear ans. Hope that helps

I've seen a couple of people at 18 months. That's rare though.

Don't worry about status mate ... Most of the time they don't change status .. It goes from "received" to "finalised" staraight way

Am agree with you Will Mate that the immi is picking applicants based on occupations. I also noticed that the occupations like cook and Restaurent Managers taking longer than other occupations like motor mechanic or from the field of engineering.

i doubt my 187 takes so long is because of the position. MA said my case is not opened by anyone... i do not think this means it is not allocated to someone... but the officer put my case aside...
