    @MAY2016 - Hi there, did you receive any acknowledgement from your MA that your DE nomination and visa has been lodged? As soon as the application is lodged, following documents are auto-generated from the Immi system and it should be shared by your MA with you -

     

    -> Receipt of Nomination and Visa payment; IMMI Acknowledgement of Visa Application;Bridging Visa A for all the applicants.

     

    TRN is mentioned in all these documents.

    Thank you so much for your reply. Have sorted out TRN issue. MA said not normal practice to provide to client but said he will send it tomorrow and he will contact immigration tomorrow as well as 236 days today. I can only wait and let you know what happens now.

    Got a question for you guys..

    My migration agent didn't get us to sign a declaration to declare that they have been appointed by us. What impact will this have on the application?

    Found out today as there is no TRN number after we requested it from the agent. So basically no one can see anything on a immigration account.

    Advice please

    Finally, it is my turn to share the good news after a very long. I was granted permanent residency on 19 Dec 2016.

     

    nomination and visa pplication on 4 Dec 2015

    Visit from immigration to my work place on 28 Nov

    nomination approved on 8 Dec

    visa granted on 19 Dec 2016

     

    what a relief.. and perfect timing...praying for those who are waiting for long..

    If that can help, the official communication from my Migration Agent is: applications take currently 6 to 9 months.

     

    The automatic email says that they are still processing early Feb applications but the spreadsheet indicates that they are already opening June applications.

     

    If you want more info, you have the option of getting in touch with:

    - Deloitte Migration Agent who probably also takes care of your application

    - The Department of Immigration (you can call them directly)

     

    Not sure if you are aware but you can also access your file by creating an ImmiAcount here: https://online.immi.gov.au/lusc/login

    Hi Everyone,

    Just letting you know that I got my PR visa granted this morning (Saturday)! Here are my details:

     

    Nomination: 12/04/2016

    Application: 17/05/2016

    Visa Granted: 26/11/2016

    Occupation: Records Manager

    Transition

    LR

    1 person

    NSW

     

    I didn't get any requests for any extra documentation - I just received an email saying it was granted.

     

    Anyway, good luck to everyone currently waiting - I hope you get yours before Christmas! I'm off for a 10am beer to celebrate......

    No I just prepared that doc since May applicants have started to get the news. 16 May application just got through so let's hope my time will come within a week or two.

     

    I hope you are right. I am so anxious to hear. I have a 16 year old that needs to be enrolled for school in Feb 2017 and our lives are all up in the air with anticipation of a decision.. I so hope to hear next week.

    This is the most madness I have ever experienced! Our whole lives are on hold, my every waking hour is spent searching for 186 visa approvals. Is there anywhere else that provides any information? I'm 6 months now and I know there's a strong possibility that it could be Christmas but would love to book my flight!
