  3. Hi all, has as anyone got any info on uk spouse visa processing times?? My wife has had her interview and finger prints done in Perth and provided all the evidence including job offer letter. We are just waiting now to hear any news on approval so we can get the ball rolling in regards to shipping and booking flights. Many thanks Dan

  7. We did want to get the kids uk citizenship before we left but with us wanting to be back in the uk by December the time frame seemed tight. That's why we were going to have the two kids on the visa with my wife so we could, all being well with the application, be moved back by December. Thanks for the reply
  8. Thankyou very much for the replies!! Ive been searching and can't find anything on the uk government website about a 'spouse visa'?? The only one I can find is still the family of a settled person visa?? our two children only have Australian citizenship at the moment, we were looking into getting them uk citizenship when after we had been in the uk. Coukd someone please post the link for the spouse visa?? Unfortunately my wife is unable to get a uk passport by descent. many thanks
  9. Thanks for the reply. When we have been researching the visa to go with we went with the family of a settled person as one of the options is that family will be returning with the sponsor. Needing skin offertory turn with also made us think this was the right visa for us? Is this and the spouse visa not one and the same? Many thanks
  10. Hi there, I'm planning on moving back to the uk with my ozzy wife and oz born children at the end of the year. We are going for the family of a settled person visa so I need a job offer which meets the financial requirements. I have a job lined up which is all good but am wondering if anyone knows how long I would have to stay in the job for? What if after a few months a better job offer came up in the uk? Could I potentially change jobs? I've searched the Internet and emailed the uk immigration office but they were no help. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!!!
