My last application 3 years ago from visa lodge to approval took only 9 days. Same sponsor, same destination, don't know what took so long this time. Hi Suzanne, My nomination lodged in 8 March and approved 8 July. From a low risk country and still took 4 months. My last application took only 6 weeks in total for nomination and visa approval in 2013. Visa lodged 8 July this time, waiting. Hi everyone, I'd like to share some experience of my 457. My first application in 2013 only took 6 weeks for nomination and visa granted in total. Low risk country, position as contract administrator. Wife and child came alone with me. For family reason back home, cancelled the visa. Re-applied 2016 March 8 for nomination. Nomination approval July 8. Took 4 months this time, don't know why. Visa application lodged 8 July. Visa status received.
