I would like to get an estimate of the visa timings to try and plan my move over. I received the invitation and have all the documents required to be lodged this week. If I lodge them this week when approximately would I be able to move over to Australia?

I have just received my invitation to apply and will lodge my documents this week. I have all the documents ready including criminal check, English and health tests. I am an accountant with 70 points. Could you give me an estimate of when I will be able to move over to Australia? Thank you

Thank you for the response. I'm not sure what the 'date of effect' refers to. It was uploaded late last week if that helps. My immigration agent said it will take 4 months to receive an offer to apply. The timelines seem to vary greatly. Then the 2nd stage with the case officer/actual visa processing takes another 4 months.

Does a direct grant mean you can move over there and start working? Wow yours was so fast. Gives me hope.

That is better than 18 months thank you. Could the example of the person quoted above above move to Australia in mid February? Or was it another 4 months to get the visa processed? Thank you for the help.

Afternoon, my EOI was submitted this week - UK accountant 70 points. I am trying to get an idea of timings, first get the offer to apply for a visa and then the visa application process. I have heard everything from 1 hour to 18 months!! I have no idea what a realistic time frame is. Any honest answers very welcome!!!!
