I have taken both the IELTS test and the PTE test. The PTE test is totally an uncontrolled environment, candidates are allowed to start at different times so when you are on the supposedly quiet section of your test, all you can hear are other candidates carrying out their speaking section which is extremely off-putting. Also my computer crashed mid way through the test. When you try to compain they don't want to know, they will not answer the formal complaint emails, and they will not provide the details of any external verifiers. Complete con if you ask me and would not recommend my worst enemy to sit this test. @IELTS all the way, at least this is a controlled and fair assessment. @PearsonPTE, never to be used again. Anyone else had any issues? What are your thoughts?
