    Any one fed up with the lack of communication from their migration agent when they get their money? I've emailed mine several times over the months and 9 times out of 10 he doesn't reply. Co requested additional documents at the start of February which most I already sent to our migration agent at the very beginning. I then emailed him yesterday to say that medicals were completed and if anything would be required no reply. I've also asked him several times to upload our proof of defacto relationship to our application as I sent him all this information at the beginning as well and as yet he is still to do it. I just don't want anymore delays as the case officer wanted police checks as well which we already provided to our migration agent who didn't upload them :arghh:

    You can upload document yourself on with immi account.

     

    Suggestion: tell him that you will report him to MARA.

    Hi everyone . I have applied as a chef and also working under 457 with same employer. Is it' make any difference or make it stronger etc ? Anyone know why the are refusing nomination ? Do u guys think should I also worried about this. Thanks in advanced.í*½í¸Š

    Hii Blackfrangetta. My nomination is also refused and am going for appeal. I just wana know that do I need to lodge new visa application as well if I will go for appeal. Thanks

     

    No need for New visa

     

    You need to appeal the nom refusal within 21 days from the date of refusal

     

    Once the visa is also refused (after 28days from nom refusal your visa is automatically refused) you need to appeal it

    I was under the impression that chefs were state priority 2 in WA, which is where I am applying from. I am applying direct as I didn't quite have my 2 years employment down with this particular employer in order to transition from my 457. Would you know if these factors have any bearing on the speed of my application being granted? Thank you

     

    It depends where you're application will be processed

     

    NSW is slow and picky!! My application took 10months in NSW!

    Hi guys,

     

    new to this forum, but very interesting to see what is happening with other peoples visa progress.

     

    I applied for RCB, nomination and lodged at the same time on 30/06/16

    LR country

    187 direct entry as a chef

    3 people, myself, my wife and son

     

    I was just wondering if any of you guys currently know how long its taking for visas to be processed and granted (fingers crossed), should all documents be uploaded correctly. is there any randomness involved in selections to be processed or is it a pretty fixed timeline, and can you get a gauge on when your time to be "called" is pending.

    Chef occupation is not on top of their priority list...

    How do u know they missed a doc??

    And Immi didnt even request this? Insane and so unfair. Im sure you will be fine for the appeal then. What will happen if you dont get the appeal answer before your 28 days?

    I saw The refusal letter of nomination...

     

    Well unfair and bad luck I guess

     

    When you appeal the nomination it means that you're appealing the visa consequentially (visa is automatically refuse after 28 days from nom refusal)

     

    The timing for appealing are at least 6 months (fast-track appeal) to 12 months (normal appeal)

     

    So now I just need to wait again!!

    I advise everyone to ask MA for a list of documents submitted for nomination & visa...

     

    You can find out if your MA misses one! Better before than after a refusal...

    Hi guys

     

    I have news.

     

    I spoke to a lawyer.

     

    He said if I apply for a new nomination within the 28days from the refusal I can then link my 187 visa to the new nomination.

     

    This process is quick ( couple of months).

     

    He made my day!

     

    I am going to hire him and suck my MA. He said we have enough time!

     

    Don't use a MA that screw your life use a lawyer!!!!!

    It depends what u think. Depends if the new employer is bigger than old one. If it's same employer then new nomination might be quicker than appeal. If it's new employer then see if he is capable in everyway. If u go for appeal think the reasons why It's refused and chances of getting approved thru appeal. Just my two coins

    That's great news! Are you on a bridging visa A? I was under the impression that if you lodge another application while on BVA you will go to a BVC which doesn't come with work rights but I could be wrong.

    I don't know if that doc was requested and never provided or if nomination was straight refused

     

    But the CO requested a doc for my visa so I could assume that it's the first :/

     

    Now I don't know if keep MA and appeal or

    send him to hell and ask for a refund and apply with another agent

    It will be refuse as your nomination has already refused then you will go for mrt for both if them. In most of nomination refusal cases i have seen it's 90% ma's fault. If it is his fault don't let him get away with that. When you find out the reason please do share m sure there are so many people on this form will guide you through. It is sad but Gud luck mate

    Hey thats sad what just happened to u. If u go through mrt it will take another year or so. Find out first what mistake it was. Sometimes u can reapply get approval. Depending on nature of mistake though

     

    Can u check if immi sent email to withdraw visa app ??

     

    Immi sent email (see on immi account)to inform that I have 28days to withdraw the application. This is how I found out about refusal

     

    Still don't why...my MA said he will call me....
