If I was you I would ask my MA (assuming you have one) to contact the department. Seems ridiculous that it’s taking so long. Would think that your application got lost in the pile and wouldn’t hurt to get someone to dig it up for you, but they won’t do it themselves if not asked!!! 

Muppett.. guess what I keep on asking my migration agent where is I am overseas, I don't lose a change of emailing my migration agent every month.

I was fortunate enough that I got a reply back from department for months back they said we are looking in your case. I believe it was a random reply but it was shocking that they did replied rather than a Auto reply.

Life becomes very hard if you are Overseas and you are dependent on this thing from last three years plus not to forget 2 years of ielts.

I am not able to understand this system of Australian immigration.

Just sharing to give motivation to all..

I got requested checklist email from Immi that requested company financial info, my working evidences...Is that s56 form? Someone told me s56 is AFP, medical requested, not financial info. Plz explain to me coz I don’t understand. Thank you so much!

Your evidence is part of S56..
Medical is requested because I believe your medical is not updated or it is old.

So I am assuming most likely your s56 request is there or you can do one thing you can go on IMMI website and you can check your messages there must be a request of s56.

What are the current timelines for approval for the 187?
I got my RCB approval yesterday and will be filing my nomination and visa application next week.

The bitter truth is " it is a long wait"
until and unless it's a exceptional case.

You should not take stress at this point where you only your RCB is cleared.

On an average calculate at least 20 months.
