1.

skilled employment for at least eight and up to 10 years (of the past 10 years) 15

points ( this is just for UK employment, I don't need 20 points combination).
 2. http://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/189- skilled employment for at least eight and up to 10 years (of the past 10 years) - 15 ( thats just for UK experience which I have, So i don't need the combination 20. Thanks for your reply though
 3. I would really appreciate some advice. I am in the medical profession (a GP) and I applied for a 189 visa and unfortunately I received a refusal and the reason given was that I didn't have a full skill assessment from AHPRAH at the time of EOI application ( as I thought it had to be from AMC and RACGP). I now have a provisional Skills assessment from them and I have had a birthday so lost some points however according to the scoring calculators it says I still have enough to apply for 189 again. My rejection letter doesn't mention anything about baring me from reapplying or gives a waiting period and I would like to confirm that I can as I would hate to waste another fee. Ive been given conflicting advice from some migration agents pushing me to do 457 when this would be a better option. Age 15 points for my age 40 20 points for my IELTS TEST as I got an 8 15 points for my degree as I have a bachelor degree 20 points for my skilled employment ( I've been a doctor for over 10yrs). So I don't quite understand why this option was given to me, the agent does have a link to the employer. I feel like I am not getting anywhere and wasting more time when a simple yes or no will do.
 4. Hi Westly , I have had conflicting advice ( even from migrating agents ) and would like to know if am able to apply for 189 visa and what steps I need to take next. Thanks
