I dont know about unpaid experience but it says cert3 plus 2 years experience. Or cert 4 (no experience).and yes RPL (the cert4 you are wondering) cert 4 is 100% valid certificate to apply 187
Thanks praneesh

Is a cert 4 is valid if i get from some institution with my experience as cook ?

hello everyone, i have been following this forum from last one month as i'm going to apply for 187 next month. I have few questions if you guys wont mind helping me out with?
1. I'm from LR country and have been offered a job by council run child care center in Canberra, do you guys think that getting sponsored from council run will help in decreasing my processing time (i.e 9-12 months as per the trend)?
2. center manager is going to do my application which means i cant use an agent to help me. she has never done the 187 visa application before but she said she has applied 457 applications for few people. so do you guys think, its a risk going with her rather than an agent or it doesn't matter?
3. (THIS IS THE MAJOR ONE) MY HUSBAND- he is offshore as he was in Australia for 5 years before his student visa got cancelled and given 3 years ban which got over earlier this year and recently i applied for him to get him here as my dependent but that got ended up in refusal. so now im worried that his immi history and this refusal will haunt us in this 187 application as well? do you guys think that this will effect our application?
I have read lot of helpful replies from you guys to other people. so i'll look forward to that, thanks.
well all i know is LR country files are usually processed faster may be in 6 months or even earlier, but i dont think if it matters if you work for council , no one cares in immi about it , well if your manager wants to apply your file thats ok , as you have mentioned he/she has applied 457 before , as long as they have all the documents it shouldnt be a problem, you save about $5000 too,
for the last question regarding your husband i would suggest you to go see a good migration lawyer for consultation before you apply, make sure you see a lawyer not a migration agent,
i hope its helpful!

hi everyone just wondering , who is mahi ? i was just looking at the spreadsheet ,
i was surprised to see that he got hi visa in 3 months
he has mentioned that he applid both nomination and visa on 18/03/2016 and visa was granted on 19/05/2016 in just 62 days , is that correct or there is a mistake made by person ?

hello friends,
just a question
what happens if someone is on RSMS 187 VISA and the business gets sold with in a week after his visa approval.
1. what obligations does employer and employee has to follow?
2. will that affect on 187 visa holder?
3. the next employer is ready to keep him in same contract, same location, same salary and same position.
your reply will be appreciated
thanks
in that case the employee is the most luckiest person haha, you dont have to work with new owner, you can where ever you want as long as its the same area.

Hi Can you guys please help I m very much worried. I got my nomination refused actually my employer said that he want me to start working with him once my 187 is granted. So I was waiting for it. Mean while my employer and his partner had some personal issues and the company no longer exist. So my nomination got refused I have been given 28 days to withdraw and lodge new application. As I was aware of the situation I got my new sponsor ready. And I will apply for nomination next week. But by now I hold only bridging visa A and no other substantive visa at all. So if I withdraw this visa and then apply for new visa mean while what visa will I hold? Will the immigration give me bridging visa A C or E? Please help me.
hi hussain sorry to hear that as far as i know you have to withdraw your pr visa file and apply for nomination on shore and leave the country and have to apply visa from offshore, coz you dont have a substantial visa thats why you are not eligible to apply any visas onshore, unless you apply refugee visa or something , i am not expert but i think this is how it goes, if you apply for refugee visa it might complicate your 187 visa so i would suggest to go and see a good lawyer and not worry about money at this point.
i hope it helps you cheers!

i was reading about your problem , well afp is right they have mentioned that you were driving with no license , as you have mentioned your license was expired that means you didnt have any license when you were driving, driving with a expired license mean you were driving without license, second one is obviously a serious offence of fraud , you should have think about consequences before you made those mistakes.
it was your mistake , just pray you might get lucky
cheers!!

I applied my nomination and visa those dates too! But I'm in WA. Hopefully we won't be waiting too much longer but since immi are only on December applications I'm guessing we'll have another 4/5 months to wait

i was just looking at 186 thread earlier and it just drove me crazy that in reality they are the first priority over 187 and they are all getting their visa in less than 6 months or around 6 months, its not fair, i think we all should do something about it , can we do anything may be go on feedback page or something on immi website or something like that ?
btw i am new on here i applied .
my nomination on 26th may
visa applied 16th may.
and ofcourse waiting
coz they wanna sort out 186 files:daydreaming: first

apply for mrt straight away if thats the situation and you can complain to mara department of migration agents , for his big mistake. before making any decision consult with a good immigration lawyer not migration agent, such as david bittel, he is best in syd and karina ford in melb.
cheers!

we applied same month jamie , i applied on 26th april for nom and 16 may for visa fingers crossed.
cheers!!!!

Hi every one i have been asilent follower of this forum, i have received email today from migration agent thats my nomination has been refused, for position as a cook,
Reason was due to financial situation case officer isnt satisfied with the financial statements of 2015 and 2016,
Thinks my employer cant afford to pay me.
Position cook
Applied nomination 26th april 2016
I might have to withdraw my visa application within 28 days, aat is an option but i am not considering it coz my employer seem a bit dodgy.
Just wondering how long can it take for a decision of aat if any one have had experience?
Luckily i still have my student visa.
Good luck every one and congs to lucky ones who got their PRs
