  1. Thank you verystormy, we have now spoken to one and hopefully can get the process under way.
  2. Hi, we have decided to email my husband's cv /resume to construction companies in the hope somebody sponsors him. We spoke to a migration expert who advised that this was possibly the best way as his job is on the Sol list. If no joy he'll need to take the English test and I'll need to do a skills test to bump this up. I could do with getting samples of these tests, if anyone could advise what hey are called. Good luck in your application.
  3. Hello! We have recently decided that we would like to try and make a new life for ourselves in Oz. However, having perused some sites, the process doesn't look exactly straight forward. We are literally at the very beginning of the process so apologies! My husband is a Project Manager (construction) and has worked in this field all of his life, he has been a Project Manager for over 10 years. He has an NVQ level 7 in this area, which I believe is an equivilent to a degree. The only sticking point is that he is 45. I am 34 but work in admin, so I wouldn't qualify. The way we see it would be to find a sponsored job for Paul and after 2 years apply for permenant residency. I guess my 1st question would be does anyone agree if this is the best route? After looking on the Internet, I can't see any sponsored jobs in this field but am told that they are rarely advertised. What do you think is the best way to see these. If anyone was able to help with these points, we'd be really grateful. Indeed, any tips / advice would be most welcome. Many thanks in advance.
