  1. Thanks Blossum, I may have the visa numbers mixed up, there is so many we have been looking at. :-/
  2. Thanks Quoll - that is what I was thinking. They have left it a little late. Thanks for your advice
  3. Hi Everyone, newbie post here - I have searched the forums but there seems to be a lot of info that is older, so may be out-dated. My parents have come to visit me, and have decided they want to move to live here permanently. I am struggling to see what Visa is going to be the correct one. One is already 50, the other 50 in 6 months. Eligible for a 457, but do not really want to work full time and be tied to a visa. (However, the skill is within the mines, so may well have a reasonable work / travel balance) They are too young for aged parent visa, and there will fail the family balance test as more siblings live back in the UK than here. So they are already at the age limit for most visa's. We are currently on a 457, ready to convert to a 187 (skilled independent) and are happy to sponsor if we could, but not sure if that is an avenue we can follow.... So my Q is, what visa is going to be easiest / best to get them in? Thanks in advance for all your help!! Alanad1986
