HI, We are planning to move to Moreton Bay in January and would like to make sure the financial aspects are managed well i.e. foreign exchange transfer, pensions, tax issues but also to do some financial planning/ review. Any ideas on good advisers who have knowledge of both English/ Australian systems? We have looked around already but just wanted to know any recommendations and costs of them?

We are moving to Moreton Bay area to be near my partner's family in Margate. We have a 3 year old and a 5 month old and wondered what are the best locations to live at near the beach. Any suggestions??

We are looking to move in January 2017 as we have family already established in Moreton Bay area. We are having a dilemma as to whether to rent our house here for a couple of years to see how we get on there or sell it and buy there. I am not sure how much prices will go up here over and there over the next couple of years and whether it will just be too much hassle to rent and then sell our place here from afar. But its a big leap to buy there immediately. Any advice? We have a 5 year fixed mortgage to get out of here ending in 2018 with renumeration fees of £3800.
