Hello to everyone! Iam a 63 y/o male, widower, living in the philippines with my grandson. More than a year ago, i met and fell in love with an australian permanent resident (filipina born). We lived together and she went back to australia to finalized her divorce. She then went back to the philippines and asked me if i wanted to live with her in australia. I told her that i need to bring my grandson with me, since his parents cannot give him a good quality life. My question is, what will be the application that we need to submit, the fastest and surest way, so we can both live with my partner in australia. What proof that i need to submit or prepare with regards to my grandson? Does my partner to show proof that she has enough income in australia to support me and my grandson? Can we submit the application by ourselves without a lawyer? We are planning to get married. And we are saving money for this special event. That is why we cannot afford to pay a lawyer.
