Hi, I am a Australia PR and currently stay in Malaysia for work. As of today I just find out that my girlfriend who is also in Malaysia is pregnant. I am planning to get married asap and apply for the partner visa (subclass 309/100) offshore. But i think there isnt enough time for the application to be processed. Besides, the another problem I foresee is the health check requirement where X-ray is to be performed (NOT recommended for pregnant woman). While the visa is being processed and if she enters Australia to give birth, is she considered as a foreigner and has to pay the high medical fees ? Another question is will the child be granted citizenship automatically? I need some advise on how to go along with this. Any useful inputs/solutions are greatly appreciated, thanks. Regards, Kenneth
