Looking to move to Australia in 2021. My daughter has lived there for 11 years and my brother for 30 years. I am 65 years of age. My concern is would I be able to live comfortably. My house here in the UK is valued at £160,00.00 and I have a private pension and will be getting my state pension in October 2020. Advice greatly appreciated.

I have read various articles regarding the introduction of a new 5 year renewable visa for a parent with a child living in Australia with Australian citizenship. Does anyone have any detailed information as to where I can find out more on this please. I am hoping to go and join my family as soon as I can. Any information would be a fantastic help. The visa is set to be introduced in July of this year.

My daughter moved to Brisbane in 2007 and is now a permanent resident of Australia and works in a Brisbane private hospital since 2008. My brother has lived in Brisbane for over 30 years. I am 61 years of age and now want to plan the rest of my life living close to my brother and daughter and grandchildren in Australia. Any pointers how I should go about this move would be much appreciated.
