Yes the warranty seems to be an issue and i didn't realize i would be subject to local taxes, any suggestions on where i can find out about the taxes?

Can anyone tell me if they have ever bought and shipped appliances over to Aus from the UK. Even considering shipping it seems to be a lot cheaper than buying here. Anyone got any experience with this or recommend any companies to use in the UK who have experience with this? Thanks
