How long do people usually wait if they've been successful? 19 mins apparently lol!!

Is it today that the next round of invitations for 189 visas is issued if you've been successful?

i never got any email saying it had been submitted? is that right? however when i log into skillselect it says submitted. And in the correspondence section is a PDFs saying it has successfully been submitted. worrying a little here that i havent submitted it right

When the Expression of Interest is put in. How do you find out if you've been successful? Do you get an email? or do you have to keep checking on skill select? Are the invitations all issued on the same date? i.e. next round is the 11th of may? Ive had a look on the forum but all i could see was the thread from Captain C doing his predictions. Cheers Frank

Hi, When you submit an EOI do you have to upload certified copies of marriage certs, birth certs, qualifications, payslips etc?? or is that when the EOI is accepted and the invitation is granted? Late at night and i think im reading this wrong. Cheers Frank

Im currently working as an operations team leader ex control room operator. The north sea is grimm just now. Which is kinda whats worrying me about OZ. i used to work in refinries onshore so that would be an option. However i had a look and cant find any refineries in OZ apart from the ones they closed?

Hello all looking for some advice, Working through my visa as we speak. Ive been contacting some agencies before leaving the Uk to try and get an idea of job availability but had no replies from companies or agencies. Whats the prospects for offshore workers in OZ just now? Would any of them even entertain me before we leave? Its a massive jump to leave the UK to OZ without a job which is kinda scary prospect for me. Frank
