Thanks for your advice and help everyone! Finding a job first and then applying to a work visa before going to Australia is the best course of action afterall.

Well, can a person go to Australia on a tourist visa, do some job hunting, find an employer who is willing to sponser him and then apply to a work visa either while still in Australia or leave Australia and apply from own country?

Is it possible to go to Australia on a tourist visa, find a job, and then acquire a work permit all while one is still in Australia?
