I am into mechanical engineering with seventeen years of mechanical cooling (Refrigeration and Air conditioning) engineering experience. Via working full time basis and developing myself technically, i have been able to achieve my: 1. BSc (Hons) in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Engineering 2. Higher National Diploma (HND) in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Engineering 3. Career Diploma in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air- conditioning and Refrigeration) Engineering 4. BTEC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering 5. Diploma in CO2 Refrigeration Systems 6. Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) - Managing Safely 7. City and Guilds 2079/CITB F–Gas qualification cat. 1 8. CITB Pipe work and Brazing (commercial) 9. CITB Essential Electrics Certificate 10. CITB Refrigeration Electrics Certificate 11. City and Guilds level 3 Certificate in Mobile Air Conditioning Systems 12. EAL level 3 unit-Maintenance of refrigeration systems and 13. City and Guilds 2382-10 17th Edition Electrical qualification. I am currently working full time and further studying to achieve my Data Center Associate Certification. My years of experience has taking me via industrial refrigeration, retail refrigeration, comfort cooling (Commercial Buildings) and now Datacom. My wife (lead applicant) is a social worker with one of the councils in UK and we are very keen in relocating to Australia and have further received an invitation from NSW to apply (190), which we will be doing soon. As a father of two relocating my family from UK to Australia, i am a bit worried about work & job hunting. Please do you have any advice on the refrigeration and air conditioning industry in NSW and Australia as a whole?. Any advice will be well appreciated. Thank you.
