Still on the short term SOL list.

I have sent about 4 emails this year and a few last year.. they only gave me the months of the cases they were allocating at the time and told me to keep waiting.. oh, and thanked me for my patience... I have no patience left. :(

My agent told me the IMMI just finished the applications that submitted last December. So just wait two more months.

Hi, as we can track our visa application through immiaccount, is there anyway we can track nomination application as well? anf if we can what details we need for this?

Yes, you can track your nomination application. Give your agent your immiaccount username and ask him to share the nomination application to you. After he does that, you will see two applications(one is visa, the other is nomination) in your own immiaccount.

    Hi All,

BAS, Tax returns, supports letter from accountant ?

or don't they need to be updated ?

Yes. My employer updated already. I strongly advise you to have them updated too.

    So my assumption is this:

    1. Ensure that your applications are 'decision ready'.  All this about tactically uploading police check etc at a later date so that they are still valid a year later does not work. Upload ALL docs and then let them expire, then pay more money to get more recent docs and upload again.

    2. For those of us who have been waiting many months ( ,since mid-march 2016 in my case) ,this is a slight glimmer of good news in sofar as I can assume my my correct and sufficient documents are uploaded. And that immi hasn't had the need to refuse my application because of lack of paperwork.

I hope that makes sense. Long day at work!!!

    Happy Waiting!!

Agree. And the employer's documents (e.g. balance sheet, profit & loss statement) must be updated for the most recently concluded fiscal year.

    Hello everyone
my 187 visa was approved 20 April 2017 I arrived in Australia 10 may 2017 my employer is in cairns 20 may I went to my employer ask to start my job but he refuse because I am 27 week pregnant and she said its not safe to work in this condition, according to my visa approval letter I have to commence my work 14 September 2017 and my delivery is due 17 September 2017
Now I am already lived in cairns
Please tell me how can I handle this situation.i was booked my accommodation there as well
    Thanks

Ask your employer to give you a leave without pay (LWOP), which is from your first working day to the day before you go back to work. You'd better send the application to your employer via email and make sure he or she reply you via email too so that it could be used as evidence if the immi ask you about it in future. In the application you should give a specific reason why you want a LWOP  such as pregnancy Above is my personal suggestion, and you'd better consult with your lawyer if you have one..

    Hi PanadaApr.

How are you able to get these messages from immigration?

I am using an agent and she hasn't given me access to my immi account. She is handling everything. I have proof of applying for everything etc but get no updates like this one.

    Thanks!

sent a blank email to nsw.pse@border.gov.au. It will reply automatically.

Thanks bro for encouraging me,it's very hard to wait offshore, because I am struggling from last 9years for this goal. I had to leave Australia in November 2015,I submitted all documents photocopy to my lawyer before leaving and I was hoping to hear about nomination from my lawyer but then in early march he let me knew that my employer did not provide some business paperwork. Finally my lawyer lodged my nomination in mid of march. Then again after my so many requests he lodged my visa application in mid of may 2016.I think it's more than enough for me.i have not sent my kids to school in my home country and now so worried about their future.please God help us we are in such a bad situation. Just praying and hoping for positive outcome

just hang on there mate. I think the processing will speed up from now on since after the new policy many 457 and 186 applications have to be withdrawn so there will be more staff to handle 187 applications. That is why there are few visa granted in the past three weeks because everyone is waiting for the new policy. I am pretty sure you will get what you want in the end. The god hears you and he feels your pain and suffer Just don't give up. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

     Hi, yuderdc

how do you know your stage of nomination?

I can't add it to my own IMMI account.

I don't know either. I think you have to ask agent for the status of nomination. But someone told me, either nomination approved or refused, there will be an email sent to the mailbox of your immiaccount. I don't know if it is true.

  10. Hi guys, I have a quick question

    I lodge nomination 4 Jan 2017 and Visa application 3 Mar 2017.

Do you think is good idea to do my medical exam now? If case officer will take my files, he/she can approve my visa without requesting more documents.

Given the new processing time of 187 visa, I think you could do medical exam in June.

  11. Hi guys, I have applied for 187 visa in July 2015 with the help of MA and I've been issued with bridging visa in August 2015. They asked for more documents in march 2016 which I have provided. I haven't heard anything since then from immigration. My MA send them an email to get update but the reply they got is not helpful at all. Did anybody face such long duration of wait in this visa type ? What would be the best option for me to do ? Thank you for reading my post :)

Mate, you could try a request for access to information(http://www.border.gov.au/Forms/Documents/424a.pdf). They should give you answer within 30 days after they receive the request.
