    Help!

Thanks guys. I guess I'm just paranoid as we've come so far after three years we are now finally getting closer. I'm phoning our agent tomorrow anyway to discuss. I'm just a worrier lol xx Sent from my D2403 using Tapatalk

    Help!

We have just been allocated a case officer and my daughter (19 months old) has just had stool sample back with traces of c diff. We have no idea where this has come from. She had a fever and diarrhoea, but she is better now and on antibiotics. I'm absolutely scared out of my mind that this may effect our visa application. Am I overreacting? 3. We just lodged our 190 visa with NSW. I'm not sure how long this next bit takes. But we want to go as soon as possible. Yeah, check on prices too as vetassess and ACT may have slightly different costs. I'm not sure. I know the downunder centre also have another office they use for Skype tests but I can't remember where it is. Sent from my D2403 using Tapatalk
  4. Oh and it's still a test, but no practical required unless you fail and then you will probably have to do practical x Sent from my D2403 using Tapatalk
  5. Jamie, no it was arranged via our agent. If you Google the downunder centre and give them a call they may be able to help. You have to travel to London to do the Skype interview as it has to be in a controlled environment. But they're all really lovely there. Sent from my D2403 using Tapatalk
  6. Hi Jamie, Depends who is assessing you. My hubby went to London for a Skype interview for his skills assessment. They asked him questions about carpentry theory and what he does. As he passed there was no need for a practical test. They have different IELTS test centres in UK so would be one closest to you. I would recommend getting a tutor as it's easy to get caught out on the test I think. As my other half had a tutor he scored all nines and one eight which was amazing. Private message me if you like... Leah Sent from my D2403 using Tapatalk
  7. That's helpful to know. Thank you xx Sent from my D2403 using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks so much hun. I didn't know this so thank you. I think we would be able to scoot within six months as we only rent here. But the logistics of it all gives me a headache hahaha xx Sent from my D2403 using Tapatalk
  9. Hi ya, congratulations. We hoping to go to Newcastle too x Sent from my D2403 using Tapatalk
  10. Congratulations!!! Exciting times. My hubby passed skills assessment, English test, our EOI was accepted January, secured state nomination and now just putting in for visa. It's been such a rollercoaster, but we are getting there slowly. We have an 18 month old daughter xx Sent from my D2403 using Tapatalk
  11. Hey Laura, My hubby is a carpenter too and we are heading to NSW on a 190. What stage are you at? Leah Sent from my D2403 using Tapatalk
  12. I didn't know that. Doesn't surprise me though, seems like I'm always hearing something new lol x Sent from my D2403 using Tapatalk
  13. You're welcome. We are applying for a 190 for NSW and asked exactly the same question ourselves x Sent from my D2403 using Tapatalk
  14. No you don't need a job offer. Some people prefer to have a job lined up before they leave the UK, others have more success finding a job once in Australia. Also, if you get a 190 visa say for being an IT Manager (for example) you don't have to do that exact job once you emigrate. You could actually work at McDonald's. Not that you'd want to Leah Sent from my D2403 using Tapatalk
  15. Thanks so much, that's really insightful. Especially about being good for families. Will check out the area for sure. You guys are awesome xx Sent from my D2403 using Tapatalk
