  1. thank you, ill read into it more, (hopefully without the head spin lol) i see your assessment was with vetasses, his will be through TRA i guess its changed assessor since you applied, ah so the first 5yrs after you qualified aren't classed as they are basically learning your trade gaining experience, am i right? he qualified in 2001/02
  2. hi, thanks for replying. what kinda proof of formal training? copies of certificates, he has all them, are pics etc needed? I've not seen anything about a vetasses practical, the skills assessment is through TRA does that make a difference? nope no australian AQF3 already onto the english test, and no medical issues
  3. hey everyone. first things first, we are a family of 5, myself, my husband (35 welder fabricator applying for visa) and our 3 sons 8,6,2 my first question is do i need a migration agent or am i able to do this? I'm just worried ill miss a vital piece of the skill assessment documents needed!! would you be able to give me a rough guide price of how much they are? we will be applying for a 189 welder fabricator my husband has over 10 years experience in the same job, we have all his certificates, p60's from 2006 (can you get copies of earlier if need do you know?) I'm on the understanding for his skills to be assessed he needs to supply copies (signed) of all certificates relating to his trade/job copies of his p60's copy of passport headed letter from his boss stating his roll etc (any other ideas what to include please let me know) receipt of payment completed application form have i got everything? he will then also do the english test to bump his point (do this before or after skills assessed) any help and guidance would be much appreciated thanks for taking the time to read my essay
