  1. I'm lodging my application for a 189 visa in Bricklaying. Would a employer reference from my boss back in the UK be sufficient enough evidence for my claim? thanks.
  2. I've been back through it several times and it looks as though it's only giving me 5 points for my positive skills assessment?! Ahhhhh, the stress!
  3. Hello, I have just completed my EOI for a 189 visa in Bricklaying. I was aware and amounted my points minimum total at 60. I have just completed the form, and it's saying at the end I have reached a total of 55 points but still giving me the option to submit the form? I worked it out as being, 30 points for being 27, 20 points for superior English in my PTE exam and 10 points for my positive skills assessment? can someone please shed some light on my sitution?
  4. Oh no, really? Well I've already committed myself now, as I've paid my test fee in full. Booked in on the 20th! Would you guys advise on sitting a different test then? What would be your first choice English test?
  5. Thanks for the response. If I happen to fail my IELTS test am I eligible to sit another or an equivalent English test?
  6. Unfortunately not, I only recently passed and had just under 6 months work experience before leaving the uk...
  7. Hi, I am looking to lodge an EOI for a 189 visa in the next couple of weeks. I have just obtained a positive skills assessment Cert' 3 for bricklaying. I have just booked my IELTS test and hope to get top marks, proving I have superior English. Also I am 27. I've worked it out that I will get 30 points for my age, 20 points for superior English (providing I hit the mark) and 10 points for my Cert' 3 in bricklaying, giving me a tally of 60 points. Can someone please confirm that I have worked this out correctly before I submit my EOI? Any advice will be much appreciated. Many thanks, Ben.
