finally got my visa granted yesterday !!! Time line - visa application and nomination lodged Nov 30th 2015 Nomination accepted - Jan 19th 2016 Visa granted - April 11th 2016 4.5 months !!! Relieved and delighted its finally over with !! Good luck to everyone else - i had to wait over 4 months for mine and im from a low risk country so have patience

its been assessment in progress since jan 19th - same date they approved the nomination and asked for more details - which i provided straight away im not even too worried about it as if they had any reason to reject it , im sure it would have been rejected by now

im irish but im applying from new zealand . i sacked my MA as she screwed up my application haha waste of money !!! yeah ive emailed them and rang them numerous times ...

yes i have - i emailed them and they replied about a week and a half later saying .... thanks for your email . you're application is still under consideration . unfortunately we can not give you a timeline for when it will be finalized . was a waste of time !!

hmmm so many people are getting their visas accepted pretty quickly now !! they def dont access them as they come in .... my timeline - nov 30th 2015 application and nomination lodged jan 19th - nomination accepted and asked for more information jan 20th - additional information sent status - assessment in progress tomorrow will be 4 months !!!!

i think you should just relax and let it take its course ... worrying about it isnt going to make it process any faster , although i know how stressful it is !! i applied for my application on nov30th and im still waiting . just passed the 3 month mark the other day so i emailed them asking whats happening . ive my brothers wedding to go to in brisbane on april 2nd so need to either get my 457 or apply for a visitor visa .

Hey - i hope you have better luck than i had with my agent !! She filled out my 457 application form incorrectly !! Not once , twice ... but 3 times !! I thought someone was playing a joke on me ... so be careful who you choose . If its possible , dont pay everything up front in case they screw it up

hey, i lodged my application on nov 30th . i got an email on 19th jan requesting more information so sent that off straight away . the nomination wasnt approved until 19th jan also and after speaking to Aus immi on the phone i found out that they dont start looking at your application until the nomination is approved . so they will just be looking at your application now
