Hi Patphillips47, I am on that forum yes. I know what youean, we have just booked our boy's flight and the thought of him flying alone makes us all anxious. We are probably flying at the end of March. All excited, although still a lot to sort out.

We are hoping to move within the next 6 weeks. House sold, just moved out last week. Waiting for the dog's flight date to be confirmed and then finally we can book our flights. Exciting times! Hopefully we all get a chance to get together once all of the group members are in SA.

Hey Guys, today is our day, we have our visa granted, finally. It's been a long wait,but it has been so worth it. We are over the moon happy!!! I hope this is the start for everyone waiting finally receiving the grant!!!! :wink:

:sad: No news yet, unfortunately. We are soooo ready to go now. All we need is our visa. Let's hope things start moving for us 489-ers next week.

Gosh, 5 months!!! Let's hope you get some good news soon RHB. Have you tried contacting them to find out why it's taking this long?

We are planning to move to Adelaide, preferably near a beach. The waiting is a killer, yes. I'm not sure about the processing times, it's really hard to gage. Some are being processed really quickly but generally they tend to keep to the proposed processing times, at least so we were told by our agent. The group sounds a good idea, hopefully have a few more members joining in and sharing their experience. Thank you.

Hi @persianharry, yes I am on PomsInAdelaide,too. Where in SA are you planning to settle? When did you lodge your visa application? We've been waiting for over 3 months now, hopefully it's going to be our turn this week!

No visa for us yet. Just waiting patiently...:smile:

Hello All, we are in the same boat,too. CO was allocated on 20/11/15 requesting checks and additional forms. All completed and submitted by 7th December. Waiting patiently (most of the days;-)). Fingers crossed we hear something in the next couple of days.☺
