How do u know they missed a doc??

And Immi didnt even request this? Insane and so unfair. Im sure you will be fine for the appeal then. What will happen if you dont get the appeal answer before your 28 days?

  2. It will be refuse as your nomination has already refused then you will go for mrt for both if them. In most of nomination refusal cases i have seen it's 90% ma's fault. If it is his fault don't let him get away with that. When you find out the reason please do share m sure there are so many people on this form will guide you through. It is sad but Gud luck mate

    Hi

How would he know why it was refused, this is on the nomination and I'm sure the MA will not reveal the real reason if this was their mistake. Bit of a catch 22. Very interesting subject as this seems to happen more and more.

  3. I advise everyone to ask MA for a list of documents submitted for nomination & visa...

You can find out if your MA misses one! Better before than after a refusal...

Let's pray for my refusal appeal [emoji1317][emoji1317][emoji1317][emoji1317][emoji1317][emoji1317]

  4. Hi 2015DEC187

We didn't Apply for a new nomination as there was no enough time. We are proceeding with a fast-track appeal which should take around 6 months (instead of 10 months for normal one)

Oh okay. Good luck and keep us up to date with your progress.

  5. Hi guys

    I have news.

    I spoke to a lawyer.

He said if I apply for a new nomination within the 28days from the refusal I can then link my 187 visa to the new nomination.

This process is quick ( couple of months).

    He made my day!

I am going to hire him and suck my MA. He said we have enough time!

Don't use a MA that screw your life use a lawyer!!!!!

    Hi

Have you lodged your new nomination yet?

How will they link this to your visa and ensure that its assigned and decided before the 28 days are up?

  6. They are working on them. They don't always open a file and grant a visa on the spot. Often they have checks to do, extra info to ask for. While they are waiting for that they move onto other people's visas, so start ones that are later dates. It makes perfect sense. Some checks can take a year or so to come back from some high risk countries. They can't just sit there doing nothing as that file is already open but not finished.

The problem is not receiving any updates. You prepare for 6 months and nothing happen. Not even a CO allocated. Thats also not fair. These are real people whose lives are being affected.

I wass just at immi office this morning in Brisbane and it was a bit quiet. I asked the case officer and he said members from the union are on a strike. Some still working though. It will probably be a bit slow for a couple of weeks.

  8. Moreover, how funny it is that their auto reply is stating that they are working on Late December files, whereas people from mid December and early Early December are still waiting.

Exactly, there is no consistency and we just have to wait. Not fun anymore. I even think our MA is not bothering to follow up anymore. I am really not sure whats going on and seriously dont see that we can do much about the situation.

Let me know if your MA gets a reply please.

  9. i guess you are not authorised to send them email. You better ask your MA to contact with them.

You can send them an email with regards to the visa application but they wont respond on the nomination progress. I have emailed them before and phoned for the visa part and they responded, very politely actually.

  10. Guys I am planning to email them. Should I send or my MA? Or doesn't matter? What you guys reckon?

I was thinking the same thing. Our MA says that they are following up but I dont think they actually are, so I was thinking to send an email.

The other thing is that they are already annoyed with their circumstances (HENCE THE STRIKES), I can just imagine that they will get annoyed with all the migrants, who are getting jobs in their country and they are being retrenched!, are now asking how much longer?

But on the other hand I think, okay give them another week. But this has been more than 9 months now, seriously HOW MUCH LONGER?

From what I understand it goes through various internal and sometimes external checks which can take time.

What does get me is that that you submitted docs on the 24th of August but only got a CO again on 20 September??? Can this be right?

  12. Hi folks,

Can somebody tell me if status directly changes from received to granted or their are a few other stages in between (and what are they)?

It could it you get a straight grant. Otherwise if they ask for more documentation it would change to "Information requested" Once docs supplied, it would change to "assessment in progress" until they reach a decision.

  13. The financial statement wasn't in the nomination application.

    MA's fault

    So angry

Does someone know about appealing time for nomination?

    God save me!!

That is just so unfair. What does the agent have to say about this?? Did Immi request this document or just straight refusal?
