    Hi there,

    I have applied DE Rsms application on 11 april 2016. I can see lots of people waiting from January and december as well. I want to travel overseas(India) due to family emergency. Is it possible at this stage? I donot think immi will open my file until january. Is there anybody who cn advise? I am on bridging visa A. Thanks in Advance.

     

    What visa do you currently have? If you are on BVA you can apply for BVB. If on working or student you can travel as long as your visa will be still in effect to come back.

    I have been wondering the same thing but unfortunately myself and my partner are both LR and currently on our 8th month of waiting, so really, I think that the time in which the case is opened is the same with HR/LR however perhaps the processing time/further information required can vary between the two.

     

    Same for me. LR applied 10/3 and still waiting

    Posting for a friend, His sponsor (transitions stream) has said he has submitted the application in August of this year. The MA said it was likely that he may only get the grant in April of 2017.

     

    The sponsor said he does not want to wait that long and will advertise the position again locally even though the application has been submitted.

     

    My question is if the visa application is in, and the employers business is still operating as per normal, even though the job may not still be available (if the sponsor does find someone locally) can the application still be approved?

     

    Then 2nd question, under the RSMS 187, if you loose your job, do you still retain your visa and right to live and work in the country?

    Can anyone please tell me how can we check the Immi status to know which month is Immi is processing now?

     

    Timeline: Nomination & Visa 5th Feb 2016.

    Hi all,

     

    I hope to get some clarification on the 187 visa. I have been thinking this visa is usually applied by employers and their MA but I see many of you doing it yourself (I only read some posts on random pages).

     

    I am on 457 but need PR badly as I have brought kids along and cost of living is really high.

     

    If I can find an employer willing to sponsor me for 187 how do I make the move with least disruption to my current visa?

    What documents do I need for 187 visa in addition to what I have submitted for the 457?

    Can I do this myself or I will need a MA? Do I pay for the MA or the company will do it?

     

    Sorry for so many silly questions, just trying to figure out my options

    To be honest for the whole waiting period I was watching this site and it does not seem to help a lot with the time prediction however hang in there everyone the time will come.

    Got nomination refusal today

    There was only one manager and I was nominated cook.

    the bussiness was in good terms but they said they cannot afford me.

     

    crying..___

    Anyone have idea about today's strike. Is it will effect visa application processsing or not.

     

    I wass just at immi office this morning in Brisbane and it was a bit quiet. I asked the case officer and he said members from the union are on a strike. Some still working though. It will probably be a bit slow for a couple of weeks.
