Hi All We are very excited as I have been offered a job in Gladstone and we are coming for a visit and to finalise details next week. While we are there I want to look at a couple of primary schools .I have been looking at the annual reports to get a flavour but was hoping to get some parent insight from anyone who knows about them first hand. look forward to hearing more - Thanks in advance Jo

Thanks Eera - a bit scary but really excited - more axious aboyt the education for kids. I would prefer state so i can spend the money on family - ill take a look at Elmeo. I will be working at base hospital and would love to be able to walk/cycle to work as hubby will be doing the childcare bit but quite flexible if i need to drive i will. What area is best to look at for decent areas to live? Thanks again - really appreciate your insight

Hi Have an opportunity in Mackay and all being well will be moving out middle of next year with hubster and 2 kiddies (8 & 10). Coming out for a week to visit in Jan and want to see a couple of decent primary schools as this will dictate where we live. Please can anyone advise me of good schools - feeling a bit bamboozled by all the stats and want a parents opinion. Thanks in advance Jo :notworthy:
